    I was seen by them a few months ago (3 or 4). The receptionists were immediately rude to me while checking me in. I was brought back, and my dental assistant, ************************ was the sweetest person I've ever met. She did everything to make me feel comfortable during my time there, as she knew that I am terrified of dentists and dental offices. I found out that I needed a filling, and had been in severe pain, but I didn't have the money to get it done at that time. A lady who works with taking payments informed me that I would be able to have a payment plan set up, and would only need to talk to the manager. The manager, ******, was HORRIBLY rude to me, and started chewing me out as I filled out the paperwork for the payment plan, telling me I "should not go somewhere if I can't pay it all up front", despite my pain and telling her I didn't know I needed a filling. I also did not have insurance at this time, and was able to pay for the initial first patient appointment, just not the filling, which was over $300 more.The ******* *********************** was kind, but it was clear that she was just in a rush to get my filling done. She got frustrated and angry when I asked her for a moment to breathe, as I was anxious and her hand was covering my nose, and I could not breathe through my mouth as they were working on it. She sped through the job, and when I got home and brushed and flossed my teeth, it was obvious the filling was done incorrectly. It pulls when I floss and hurts a lot, and aches when I brush my teeth. They were unwilling to see me again to fix this problem, because I "owed them money" and they were "unwilling to set up another payment plan with me". Which I shouldn't have to pay again for them to fix a problem THEY caused.

    In regard to the complaint filed for Case # ******** we value our patients and the care we provide for them, and we take our patients concerns and complaints very seriously. 

    On 3/15/2024 the patient was referred to our location by a friend who was a previous employee of Badger Hills Dental Care. The patient was evaluated, and radiographs were taken, revealing the need for a filling. Treatment was completed during the same visit.

    Prior to the procedure, we discussed the cost with the patient to ensure transparency. The patient expressed financial constraints and the office proposed a financing plan. Although he did not qualify for the financing plan, I, the practice manager of operations, approved an in-office payment plan, which we rarely do, to assist him. I was involved only in approving the in-office financing, and all other interactions were handled by the Business Assistant. The doctor checked the bite and integrity of the filling before the patient was dismissed, and the patient confirmed it was satisfactory.

    We have not received any communication from the patient regarding their treatment until now. The patient is welcome to schedule an appointment at our office. We will never turn them away, regardless of any outstanding balance on their account.

    We strive to provide each of our patients with the highest quality dental care experience and take pride in our commitment to their oral health. At Badger Hills Dental Care, we believe we have met the patients needs by ensuring their satisfaction before dismissal. The doctor confirmed the patient was satisfied with the treatment and advised them to contact our office for any necessary adjustments.
