  Hi, I started attending The Professional Massage Academy located in ***********, ********* to receive my certificate of becoming a massage therapist in November of 2021 under the assumption of the course to take about ***** weeks. Ive completed the course work containing anatomy, physiology, hygiene, ethics, massage theory and research and Ive completed all necessary hours of hands on training. The issue that Im having is the clinic administrator - *****************************- wont send the necessary information to the city of *********** proving the information to process my licensing despite it being almost 3 months now..The information that the city of *********** is requiring from *****************************/ The professional massage academy is: * A copy of public liability insurance policy or certificate of insurance with limits not less than $1,000,000 * Proof of completion of a therapeutic massage certification with content that includes subjects of anatomy, physiology, hygiene, ethics, massage theory and research, and massage practice from a Accredited Institutions or Accredited Program.Ive been trying to work with The Professional Massage Academy but they are refusing to give me any information as to why they are failing to send the city that information. Im paying thousands of dollars for this service and Im not sure if this is a scam or if they are blatantly doing this on purpose. Ive been in contact with *********************** who is the city of *********** health and inspection secretary and she has confirmed she still hasnt received any information.. Despite the fact the academy claims they have sent this information almost three months ago. If there is anyone who can assist in any way about this situation please have them reach out to myself, ***************************** from the professional massage academy, or *********************** from the city of *********** at ************

  There is no question what this student says is correct.  Our manager ***************************** was responsible for submitting applications to the city.  We checked every couple weeks with her and she told us the city was just being slow and we had not heard anything.  We found out while ******* was on an unauthorized vacation that in fact she never submitted the applications.  Upon her return she submitted her resignation effective immediately presumably because she was found out.  We immediately had our head of school ************************* submit the applications, I've personally seen it.  It is our failing and we've never had this happen before.  I am being copied on all submissions moving forward to prevent this from happening.  

   

  The student rightfully feels like we are a scam, but we are not.  She will get licensed just like dozens and dozens before and over a hundred currently enrolled after her.  We've removed the problem and the student has our deepest apologies.
