Keller Properties manages *********** property, and honestly, I am not even sure what they even manage. I have reached out to them for several exterior concerns that state in my hoa handbook that they are responsible for, and when I ask about repairs, they tell me, "yes, we are responsible for that". Then they DRAG their lazy feet on repairing what they are suppose to repair and/or come up with an excuse as to why they have not fixed the issue. Or, better yet they will go back on their word and tell me, it is the home owners responsibility to repair/maintain what needs to be cleaned, fixed repaired, after they had already told me they would repair or handle the issue! I that's not even the worst of it. I am needing a new deck, mine is rotting, falling apart, unusable, and has been deemed unsafe, not up to code and told to not be on it and that who ever did the deck did not do any of it up to code. When I bought ***********, it was advertised as "oversized" that was one of the bigger selling points since I do not have any other yard. Come to find out, not even 3 month after purchasing ***********, the deck is rotting, falling apart and not up to code, and as a deck builder said "a death trap". Keller Properties are not owning any of this and saying they had no idea this deck existed and said that deck had to have been there prior to them taking over the hoa! They are liars! They have been managing my hoa for over 20 yrs! And this deck expansion wad done within the last 2 yrs! No one will own up to it and Keller Properties are telling me they arw going to tear my deck down and build me a much smaller deck!!! Tear down my 20x21 and rebuild a 20x12! I paid for a towbhomr that had a 20x21 not 20x12!!! Not to mention they are being super secretive about it and will not update me on anything when I ask! The previous owner was part of the *** and my neighbor is the president of the hoa and none of them will ever talk to me about this! Such a terrible company!Business response

****,
In order for us to effectively respond and assist this homeowner we would need to know which association/address this complaint applies to. Our company manages over **** units so without more information it will be difficult to respond to this complaint correctly.
This is general information which applies to all homeowners in each home association we manage. It is our companies job to assist homeowners with their associations bylaws, rules, regulations, declarations and homeowners responsibilities list based on their specific Association Legal Documents.
All homeowners in their respective associations have a board of directors in which Keller Properties Inc. takes direction from in regards to homeowner properties. Each homeowner is able to attend their monthly ***** meeting in person or by Zoom to address concerns. The ***** of ********* at that time gives our staff direction to complete projects. Keller Properties Staff does not make any decisions in regards to homeowner properties.

I am rejecting this response because:
Keller properties has only been the ones to respond to my request when things are needing to be done with the exterior of ***********. There are documents that state the property management company is responsible for the items I request to be completed. They continue to just put my request on the following fall, spring check list but never complete the task. When I spoke with *************************** directly he stated that once i "Spoke of taking them to court over my deck, they shut down moving forward with my deck repairs. (So, best company practice and professionalism was to not communicate with the homeowner about this?). You can let Keller properties know my *** is ******************* and that I live at ****************. They are VERY familiar with me. I spoke with *************************** Last week, They continue to lie to me about "not knowing" my deck size existed. Even though the president of my *** is my direct neighbor. **** even stated that my deck size was NEVER approved and is illegal, I would like to know if it was illegal and never approved, then why does the PRESIDENT of my *** have a deck similar in size that wraps around her town home and also has a balcony deck?? Her deck is even more over sized then mine, how was her's approved, IT WAS NOT! Also, per the AUgust meeting minutes, my *** Board of directors consists of literally 2 *** members that look familiar, the rest are keller properties members, so I am not sure how he can respond that the *** make the decisions when it looks to me that keller motioned and the one *** member ******* did not agree but yet somehow on the august meeting minUtes the motions wee approved. The *** is suppose to approve not Keller properties, to me it looks very much like Keller properties is in charge of the decisions here and that is illegal per MN statue 515B-103.Business response

The homeowner has various concerns about her property in the ******************* Home Owners Associations. She has reported to us the management company who is hired by the ******************* ***** of ********** We communicate her concerns to the board of directors and handle such issues in accordance with **** Oaks Manors Documents. Keller Properties Inc. does a spring inspection along with the ***** of ********* or grounds committee. Our company does not do a fall inspection. In the meeting she references that took place in August of 2022 **** the property manager was present as was the Account Manager. Neither Property Manager or Account Manager from Keller Properties Inc. made a motion or moved on a motion by the board of directors or voted on a motion. The Motion ******** is referencing was made by ****** supported by ****** and approved by the ******************* ***** of ********** Litigation was insinuated August 11th, 2022 at 5:01 pm by the complainant. Keller Properties requested an estimate from *************** Services received 8/23/22 for the deck removal at her property. The president of the ******************* was notified that potential legal action was going to occur and requested "all work on the deck be held off until the there is more clear direction with possible litigation" In consultation with *******************'s Attorney ***********************, he has prepared this statement1. The ******************* ********************** denies any liability for damages or attorney fees.2. If she has any claim it is against the seller for failure to disclose the physical condition of the deck.3. She purchased the unit in the winter and failed to properly inspect the condition of the deck.4. The association has the authority to limit deck sizes pursuant to its declaration, bylaws and rules and regulations.
Otherwise, if the ***** of ********* wishes to negotiate a settlement it is within their authority.

I am rejecting this response because:
As stated in the response from Keller Properties. "******" supported the motion. Who is ******? In the August meeting minutes, it was not mentioned that there was a ****** in attendance, then all of a sudden there is a ****** supporting this motion. How is a homeowner suppose to believe that these meetings are even honest or Fair when we are not even allowed to attend them when they are pertaining to our properties and request? In the Meeting minutes from August- ** states ****** moves that ***********************; was to send me a letter that the deck was never approved by the board (I am curious to know if the "oversize deck" that my neighbor has (OUR PRESIDENT of our HOA) was her oversize deck approved, I would be curious to know that?) I also never received that letter. The reason this motion passed was because all of a sudden this "******" person shows up. She was not on as an attending person, so I am confused as to how she was able to support a motion?Looking back on several other reviews I can see that there have been several other home owners who have had issues with their decks and have not had answers or proper repairs made to them. I pay my monthly HOA fee and I am not even sure what that fee goes towards.
