I Bought a 2017 Jeep Renegade on 7/22/2024. The total was about ****** On 7/22/2024 We took the vehicle home. It was missing the k**** on the blinker control bar as well as the k**** for the windshield wipers. The windshield wipers could not be turned off without turning the car engine off. There was also 2 ****** in the front windshield. After the installation of the 2 k**** on 7/29/2024. I left the dealership and the left hand blinker would not turn off after completing a turn. This was fixed after I returned to the dealership shortly after leaving. On Aug 8/12/2024 the check engine light came on and said Service Transmission. I brought this to my mechanic JB AUTO. He suggested that I change the transmission fluid to see if it would fix the problem. The vehicle had over ******* miles on it and basic Maintaince was not completed by Apple ***** The code on the Jeep was DTC Code P1DB7-00. ( TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH PERFORMANCE). This requires that the entire transmission be removed and changing the Torque Converter Clutch does not guarantee that the issue will be solved. With this in mind and the mileage on the vehicle it was recommended to have the entire transmission replaced. After Parts,Labor, and Tax the total comes out to ********. This is almost half of the ****** I paid for the vehicle. On 8/23/2024 the transmission fluid was changed and the check engine light was cleared. On 8/29/2024 The check engine light and Service Transmission code came back on. The code was the same as on 8/12/2024 DTC Code P1DB7-00.On 8/30/2024 I called and asked to talk to the Sales Manager. I waited on hold for over an hour before hanging up.On 9/3/2024 I called again to talk to the Sales Manager. I waited on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I again am yet to talk to someone. The beginning issues I had with this car clearly shows that an adequate safety inspection as well as systems was not performed by Apple **** upon when they received the car and I took ownership.
