Worked for this company for *********************************************************************** the position I was in. I received a lot of praise from many people. One day I got a new district manager and at first I was excited for the opportunity to get some new exposure and see how another person can help me grow. Not even a year later they pushed me out the doors. I was all of a sudden on the chopping block and was being treated horribly. This company preaches the idea of "doing more with less help". Year over year they cut labor and expect you to work harder and harder. I was putting in almost 60 hours a week and was still getting treated poorly and told that it's my fault I work that much. One day I built up the courage to say something which is what they wanted us upper management to do. Speak up and say how you feel. As soon as I did that I came back from vacation, my first day back and they showed up and fired me. Everyone at the store level is happy and wants to do a great job, but it's not possible with their outrageous demands. There is a massive disconnect from the store level to the corporate level and all the employees are scared to step up and say something out of fear of losing their jobs. The employees at the corporate level have no hearts and treat everybody as though they're replaceable, thus creating a hostile work environment.
