White Bear Mitsubishi is calling me non stop! I haven't owned a Mitsubishi in years and due to the constant calls, I won't own one in the future! You know they are aware they are harassment as the number isn't displayed. I'm filing complaints@Review from Larry W

I bought a 2019 Malibu from Maplewood Mitsubishi July 27 2024. It needed some repairs which they took care of. Mostly. I didn't know about any oil leaks until they called to ask if I wanted to bring it in to have fixed. The navigation is not working much of the time, especially when I need it. Now the check engine light has come on and the auto shop where I take my cars said that they can fix the check engine light for $350. The oil leaks are being taken care of by my mechanic but it will cost me $2700 to fix. When I bought the car the engine was cleaned so that I didn't know it was leaking oil until this week when oil showed up on the manifold. They knew that the engine was leaking oil but hid the many leaks from me. So now my car will be in the shop for several days and I still have to get the navigation fixed and my check engine light. When I was asked if I wanted the oil "seepage" fixed by them I asked if it was covered by any warranty. The woman that I talked to said that she would get back to me. She never did. So I do not have my car for several days and it will cost me 2 social security checks to get it back, Then will cost me additional to fix the navigation. I am very disappointed by their dishonesty and feel that they should back the product that they are pawning off as having no additional issues. When I went to pick up my car I noticed that the new invoice was several hundred dollars above the original invoice. I got that mostly taken care of but it was such a hassle and took most of the day before I got the paperwork done and got my car. The sales person then tried to take the original paperwork so I couldn't compare the two invoices. I will never buy another car from them.Review from Justin D

Very unorganized. Went in with an appointment with the assumption the car was ready to look at. Sat and waited for 20 minutes while they found a "sales person" to help me. Then waited another 20 minutes to get the car pulled up. Had a loan already approved but that was not good enough for them. All of a sudden I'm getting emails with a credit inquiry notice. They were in the back " finding a better rate," after we told them that was not necessary. They did not ask for authorization to do so. After about 2 and half hours there they came back with a bunch of different scenarios that were nothing remotely close to what I already had. Literally needed to hand them the info, sign some documents and leave with a car. Last car we bought took 25 minutes. Totally ridiculous and felt like amateur hour. Even watching other customers with same look of frustration from the high pressure sales tactics they implemented. Really sad to see this type of business still exists. Then to listen to 4 sales reps sitting in the bullpen next to me talking politics. That was fun and had no place in a place of business. So after the 6thor 7th them someone came to the speak with me I just said. I had enough and I'm leaving. The sales person tried but was too comfortable with people. Made it awkward and was really unprofessional. Maybe should have been performing oil changes instead. I hope that businesses that are all online and deliver cars takes over this end of the market. No one should have to deal with that kind of unprofessionalism and lack of respect for their customers. You could sense the urgency for them to make the sale. I work in sales and if you have that kind of pressure to sell something you will alienate the customer while coming off desperate. Do not go there for any reason!! I will never go there again. I might not go t o White Bear Lake ever again.Review from scott p

Signed all paperwork on 7/31/24 to take delivery of a new 2024 Mirage on 8/2/24. Do not work with Sara ******* or Alex ******. These individuals will sugarcoat the deal to get you a vehicle with huge payments that overvalues the actual cost of the vehicle. Read all fine print, do not fall for their sugarcoating tactics. If you do not have perfect credit, these individuals will lure you in like a huge fish and wont let go until you payments that will be double or even triple of actual vehicle cost. My credit is not is not perfect based on my college scamming me as well as millions of students across this nation for their own deceitful needs. Millions of Americans are struggling right now because of deceitful greedy enterprises. To anyone struggling financially: do not fall for bait and switch promises here to rebuild your credit by buying ne of their economy cars which sure looks nice, but will basically fall apart within monthsReview from Brittney H

My wife and I have been fans of the White Bear Mitsubishi/Bear Lot team for a couple years now, but just the other day, the experience we had with them has changed our whole view on the company. We bought two vehicles, one from the Bear Lot, One from White Bear Lot, and also had my past Ford Flex worked on at the Bear Lot and had the greatest experience. The BIG BUT here though is my wife and I reached out to White Bear Mitsubishi the other day to address concern about an improper hitch wiring install and they wouldn't even look at it until we paid $200 out of pocket for a diagnostics test and then said warranty might cover it as well which has a $100 deductible. The big issue here was not any bad wiring that needed to be addressed; it was the fact that there was a whole entire piece that was never installed directly to any power source to make the hitch wiring function properly. After calling the dealership and having no luck, we reached out to Richard who always has been immensely helpful in our time of need which is what made him, and his team stand out compared to the rest. Once chatting with him, he said he would talk to leadership, after he spoke to whoever leadership is and his team, he gave us the same exact answer as them! We did not recognize this issue right away until we bought a camper the other day. We went to hook up the camper, the taillights worked but the blinkers and brake lights wouldn't because it didn't have enough power (improper install), so we had the great crew at the camper dealership look at it. Come to find out they found the issue even though they could have charged us an install fee to install the missing piece, they were honest and told us we should go back to where we got it installed and have them fix it. Sadly, the issue wasn't corrected unless we dished out more money out of our pocket upfront to fix their mistake. We ended up buying the piece and fixed it ourselves, watching a Youtube video with no diagnostics test required.Review from Ray F

Bought a vehicle at The Bear Lot (TBL) and noticed a fluid leak on my garage floor the following day, I reported it to TBL immediately and brought it in. They said they couldn't find a leak but added dye and wanted me to return after I drove a few hundred miles. When I returned a week later for a follow-up, TBL was closed. Nobody informed me of a pending closure. So, doing some research I discovered it was affiliated with White Bear Mitsubishi (WBM) and has the same the GM/Owner of both dealerships. I called WBM to see if they would honor TBL promises, they said they would. I explained the dye and they wanted me to put about 1,000 miles b4 checking. Well, then my check engine light came on. I called WBM and they said bring it in to see what was going on. Well, it cost me $189 for diagnostics and was told my water pump was leaking and needed to be replaced, also an axle seal was leaking. Needless to say, I am going to be charged about $4,000 for repairs. The lifetime power train warranty does not cover the water pump. I bought the car with less than 75,000 miles and reported the leak within 24 hours of purchase. I have sent e-mails to the Owner/GM regarding this but have received no response. This is not right.Review from Ken D

White Bear Mitsubishi is harassing me and my family with mailings, cell phone calls, and home calls about an Airbag Recall. We have had the car there twice (with an appointment) only to be told after we were there that they did not have the part. A third time our appointment was cancelled the day before because there was no part available. We were told they would let us know when the part comes in. Three years now and no call that the part is in. JUST MULTIPAL CALLS AND RECORDING EVERY WEEK TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I have asked to be removed from their call list, does not happen. Asked to speak to a supervisor, does not happen. NEVER do business with White Bear Mitsubishi!!!!White Bear Mitsubishi Response

This is a follow up to my review if bad service MIstubihi wanted me to remove the bad reviews I put out, and that he would be willing to pay me back half of the cost for brakes, and the cleaning fee if I did that. I told him I was not good at removing things off of sights, but I would reflect a continued answer on those sights based on what he wanted to do. I told him, I was not happy with his response, so maybe he should think about how he wants the outcome to be reflected. His biggest concern, was if I was willing to remove all of the bad reviews I had put out. That is all he seemed concerned about. Next thing I find, is the attorney for Mitsubishi, sends me a contract to sign that states I will remove the bad reviews, and not ever tell anyone about this in written form, or speaking form, the rest of my life. It went on to state, if I did they could charge me $1,000 plus the amount they pay me back. I told the attorney, I was not going to incriminate myself for something they did wrong. I stated that in today's world it would be very easy for something that I printed to show up at a later date. They could have someone copy the info, and make it look like I put it out later. Again, bad service can happen at any time, we all have probably gave bad service in our jobs, but how you want to react to that bad service, and clean it up, is more important to show who you really are. I also would really like to have an answer to why did my brakes squeal after you cleaned them? I have a neighbor, and sister (who was staying with me at the time) that had been in my car days before I went in the first time, and right after the cleaning rode with me again, and asked what is that noise. A business that only cares about erasing their reviews, and not making the service better, is not a good service department. It is not a service department you can trust. I hope some day they look at their service department to improve it, and pay me back for the bad service.White Bear Mitsubishi Response

Some advice: Do not ever use Mitsubishi in White Bear Lake for service. I have a Mitsubishi Mirage with ****** on it. I stopped in because I thought I heard a small break noise. They checked the brakes and told me they looked fine at 5mm so no issues. They said they could clean them if I wanted, so I did. Ever since then my brakes squeal really load. I went back, and they told me they had to clean them again, didn't charge me but said they had to clean them again. Again, they said they were at 5mm. Still squealing. I had them checked by another mechanic said they were at 2mm, and they told me never at 5mm even when new. So went back to Mitsubishi. I went in back this time, with service manager. They now said no they are at 21/2 to 3mm and yes, there is no 5mm. Then I asked about the squeel and the mechanic tried to say - well it is a small compact car so that can happen. I clearly told them I am not a fool. I will say the service manager understood their errors and tried to get a replacement for me. Her manager said, no we will refund the cleaning fee and cut some costs, but wanted me to pay $790.00 for their error to replace them. The other mechanic will do them for $593.00 so I told her no thank you. Pulled out my legal shield card, and said I will replace them with the other mechanic and will be requesting my legal to contact you to pay for it. Dumbest mechanics I have ever met.White Bear Mitsubishi Response

Some how Mitsubishi just soes not understand. The owner now wrote that I should come in again for him to look at my car. 1st you had a mechanic mess up my brakes on a cleaning. Then I came a second time and he cleaned them and did nothing else. I came back again to find out I was lied to twice by the mechanics saying my disc wear was at 5mm, which they come brand new at 3mm. Then the mechanic tried to tell me the brakes squeal because it is a compact car and that is what they do. Then they tried to get me to pay their prices of $790 to fix my brakes. I also will state the owner is correct, I should not need disc and drum repair at ****** miles, but a person should not drive brakes that are squealing really load. You gave me no choice to get rid of the brakes you destroyed and get new onesReview from Amy C
