Bought brand new construction (house) from H & E Construction LLC August 31, 2021. 1. Issues with the furnace. A switch kept going bad. Three times the contractor **** ***** **** was out to fix this issue. I have expressed my concerns since it is a repeating issue. I would've like the unit replace seeing as ours was faulty. No replacement or conversation followed from **** ******. (dates of issues; 10/16/2021, 10/28/21, 2/5/2022, 8/25/22 [ac unit froze] ) 2. Grout lines in the floor are deteriorating. I brought it to the builders attention within the 1 year warranty period (November 2021 - 3 months after moving in) and there was no resolve. 3. Frost inside on the ceiling and walls of the bedrooms and bathrooms. no resolution was made with builder.

    Business response

    12/30/2022

I am responding to her statement about the warranty issues   She sent me a text on the 12/23 They purchased and closed on the house in August. There were call backs on the HVAC and our service man went out immediately on her request.  We have not heard from her since 8/25 until 12/23. I acknowledge that we do still need to get her the grout for the pile and that was forgotten so we will take care of that because that was told to her and it will be included in her warranty even though it usually is not included.  Regarding the bedroom request, I responded to her text n 12/23 the same day it was received.  I provided her with the contact information for the warranty which will not be replaced by the company since they confirmed that the unit was not broken and had been fixed by the man we sent out for the repair.  The unit itself was not broken, a code was incorrect on the unit so the entire unit did not need to be replaced. Our subtractor for the HVAC spoke with me on this matter and I assumed it was told to her.  The house has a building warranty of 1 year and that year expired for her in the end of August but I still provided her with the correct contact for them, even though this the homeowners responsibility once expired. When she texted me on the 12/23, I did at one point stop responding to her text messages because of her constant use of threatening and vulgar language. If she had responded in a cordial, respecting way my conversation with her would have continued.  I do not respond to bullying.  My HVAC subcontractor is willing to  provide any additional information regarding this conversation.
