In September 2021, we were on vacation in ******* when we got conned into a Still Waters Resort timeshare. We are senior citizens, and we feel they targeted us due to our age. Their staff0 manipulated us into thinking we were making a real estate investment into a private and exclusive resort that would benefit our family for generations to come. Over the course of 3 hours, we declined their offers countless times, yet when we decided to invest, the contract signing took only 10 minutes! In this 10-minute period, they failed to show us a Public Offering Statement nor did they did not go over the Truth in Lending clauses that are required by law. When we asked about cancellation options after we had signed the contract, they told us it would cost us between $1500-$2000. However, a neighbor who is a real estate agent told us that there is a required cancellation period governed by ******** law of 5 business days and if you do cancel within that period, the timeshare is required by law to refund all your money. I wish they would have been honest and told us that this existed!! They insisted we open a credit card for the down payment as well as setting up auto-pay for our mortgage. At no point did they disclose the interest rate which we later learned was *****% and has resulted in doubling our financial responsibility!!! Weve written to their executive offices requesting cancelation and we have yet to hear back. We dont believe that Still Waters Resort is being operated in an ethic and moral way and encourage everyone to stay far, far away.

Didn't want to sign a timeshare contract so we purchased a vacation plan. No where on it does it day it's not able to be canceled. It does say non-transferable and nonrefundable, we get that. When we called to cancel we were given the run around. Told us that we couldn't cancel and it would hit our credit. We put a stop payment on the reoccurring payment. This is after we've already paid **** out in payments and stayed for 2 night... in a suite with torn screens AND a ceiling fan we coulding even use because it was so wobbly we we concerned for our safety. This was NOT the type of room they showed us while on tour. Run, don't walk, run away! Just a fyi... We also dealt with *****.

Stillwaters Vacation Club timeshare is a complete RIP-OFF. They have charged us $5,353.70 and we have not been able to take a single vacation. Our sales representative, Miles *********, told us lies and used fraudulent tactics to convince us to buy a timeshare. After signing the agreement, they sent our contract via mail. Our contract conveniently (for Stillwaters) arrived right after the cancelation period and that cancellation period was not verbally disclosed. Miles told us that by purchasing more points, we could easily vacation in any location they offered. He explained all we needed to do was give him a call. What he left out is that we need to book 2 years in advance to even get anything. We tried to book a vacation to *******, and we had tried getting ahold of ********************** many times with no luck. When we finally reached him and asked for help with booking, he responded Sorry. You should book further in advance.. We were under the impression we would be paying top dollar because he promised to be our personal travel agent. This company has lots to hide and they are good at it. They manipulate their clients costing us thousands of dollars for something we can not use. This is legal theft, and it needs to be stopped.
