In Sept. 2023 I hired Home Perfect Exteriors (HPE) to install a new roof. While installing the new roof they damaged my siding, newly stained deck, windows, storm door, metal wrap. After months of dealing with it they agreed to fix the damages. When they were fixing the damages to the siding they allowed a worker to beat my house with a very large hammer for 3 hours. It felt like an earthquake with pictures flying off the walls and breaking glass. The next day I see a large amount of nail pops coming from my drywall. I showed it to **** salesman the same day and he took pictures. Over a month later *** from *** came to inspect the damage and he said he would hire a structural engineer to assess the damage. *** hired *** L **** who does not have the qualifications for this kind of structural engineer inspection (report uploaded) saying that the damage was caused prior to construction. Based on this report *** states that they are not liable for the damages to the interior of my home. I had an inspection done from a professional with certifications (report uploaded) and it is consistent with the beating my house took. I've been trying to get this resolved, but *** at Home Perfect Exteriors keeps putting me off. *** has not done anything that he has said he was going to do in the 3 plus months my homes drywall has been damaged. It continues getting worse approaching ******* nail pops on the walls and ceilings. Please see my uploaded timeline of events that contain much more detail, the inspection report from the structural engineer that *** hired and the inspection with certifications I had done. I have witnesses to the event causing the damage and witnesses to the state of my home prior to the siding being installed. My home has been in a damaged state since HPE showed up to do a simple roof replacement. I feel that HPE is no longer acting in good faith. Im just trying to get them to fix the damages they caused.

I am rejecting this response because: Home Perfect Exteriors is not communicating with me on this matter. I need to know exactly what is being done to remedy this extensive damage that they caused. It has been over 3 months and nothing productive has been done in this matter.

09/10/2024 JM: Spoke with Mr. ***** and he is still extremely unhappy at this time. He confirmed that the company lawyers and his lawyers are talking. However, this has been going on for over 5 months with no results. He still wants to keep this complaint open until it has been resolved.

09/10/2024 JM: ***** called me back with the CEO assistant on a conference call with *****. According to the CEO-Assistant of the company informed me that the company Lawyer and the Complaints Lawyer are talking and coming to a resolution,

This issue has been resolved, the company came out and repaired the issue.
