    I had an eye exam and ordered new glasses on July 23, 2024. I picked up the new glasses on August 2, 2024. I noticed the frame was broken early morning August 5, 2024. I went to the business on August 5, 2024 to report the problem and asked for a replacement. The business indicated they could replace the frame but there would be a co-pay of $27.12. Also, the young woman I spoke with said if new frames cost more than the faulty frames I would have to pay the difference. I found replacement frames that were less expensive but the associate could not tell me if there would be a credit for the difference. That was confusing since she said I would have to pay the difference if the cost was more. Seems the same rule should apply if the cost is less (provide a credit). I believe they should provide replacement glasses without a co-pay. The glass frame was a faulty product.

    We have reached out to the patient and offered a new frame to him but he does still owe a balance of 227 on his glasses product after insurance. He picked up his glasses and left without paying the balance owed to the store. So yes we are trying to collect the balance due on his account and will be happy to switch his frame out at no charge to him other than that what is already owed to the store. We have the new frame in hand and ready to go.
