Amazing how these agencies can hound you by phone, and send you collections notices for months! But no-one can email you once you pay your debt! Why does it take 4-5 days to get an email? Can someone explain why it takes up to 4 days to email me a letter that my debt was paid? Which protocol dictates this?1. The Lazy, "just doin my job" protocol. 2. The incompetent "not my department" protocol.3. "I don't care, I'm just collecting a paycheck" protocol?4. All of the above.Anyone's guess?

Today I received my mail and this company is attempting to contact me regarding two accounts in collections with them from the year 2005. This to me is not legal. Also these accounts are not mine. But I have read the reviews regarding this company and their almost illegal activities. In 2005 I was 19 years old and had no credit, no credit cards, no nothing. These people I believe are attempting to get money out of me for fraudulent accounts. And this is highly unacceptable. I have wrote them an email regarding these two accounts, and also submitted a contact us form on their site. I want these removed from my record and for this company to never contact me. As I have stated in the emails with them, I didn't get my first credit card until ********* and I still have it including my other cards as well. If this is not resolved and if they attempt to contact me I will be speaking with the State ************************ as well as contact the *** and CFPB.

Ive been getting multiple emails advising I have an outstanding ***** a) I dont have any out standing debts with any company. B) the company they say it is outstanding with is one that I have never done business with. C) they dont even list my name correctly. Please check your facts and ensure you are absolutely correct before spamming people with collection requests. The way the email is formatted with a pay now feature could scare people into paying for something they dont owe. As it is, keep wasting your time and money trying to contact me. Thats what my spam filter is for.

This company called my phone number today, using a fake phone number, calling me by a name what was not my actual legal name. They said additional verification was needed, and the woman refused to state what company she called from. If someone had debt, wouldn't you think they would A) know their actual name, B) call from a number that can be verified, C) State the name of the company they were calling from. When I reversed search the phone number it came up as a scam by three reverse phone search companies. When I called the phone back, this was when I was given this name of this "Creditor". If the debt was real, they would've mailed me something by now. Just a reminder people, do not confirm who you are if they cannot state the name of the company they are calling from or spell your name correctly.

**************** Rep ********************* is amazing. I have not had to deal with a collection agency for at least 20 years. I was expecting attitude, aggressive approach to collecting the money with a complete disregard for the situation and circumstances that brought us together. Instead she was very polite, understanding, generous with information about the ******************* Lastly and most satisfying, she provided guidance on how to approach the provider's billing department. Going as far as to how to navigate the automated options when i call the provided. An absolute pleasure to talk to. She brighten my day and reminded me that in a world of misinformation, hate and resentment that there is hope. Thank you *****, you made my day.

First off any debt collector that spoofs their phone number is fake. Got a call from ****************, just wanted my SS last four to "verify" me, but he wouldn't verify himself. I patched in my attorney and he quickly hung up. It's a disgrace that our Government, while paying illegal immigrants allows this to happen day in and day out to people who pay their taxes. SHUT THESE SCAMMERS DOWN

Received a bill from Credit Control, LLC saying I owe $1,289.41 to ***************** of Missouri. I've never dealt with a Plus Finance. I emailed them with no response. The letter looks official but has me nervous as again, I've never had a debt with Plus Finance. They have given me until 3/1/24 to dispute this claim. It also states that they accept electronic requests for the original creditor information but the website link they give doesn't exist.
