Our team explained the weekend hours posted also show we are by appointment only is why no one was I the office when she arrived on site. Our team also explained per law we have to acquire specific fees / items in order for the customer to access items or the vehicle.

She appreciated us reaching out and understood where the miscommunication happened.

The team also explained her vehicle was no longer on our property and we passed along all information over in case she should have any future questions or concerns.

My car was towed on 6/2/23. On 6/5/23 I went to the towing company to get my phone and paperwork out of my car. I was told they would charge me the $352 to get these things out. Then they brought it down $105 that I would need to pay. I don't understand why I would have to pay anything to get my belongings out of the car.

We always allow owners to get paperwork such as ID, registration or title, medicine, car seats, house keys, and wallets out of vehicles with no charge. We do ask that if you are leaving your car on our property and want to clean out the remainder of your belongings you are responsible for paying the tow bill which was $105.

I called to have my vehicle winched out on 1/29 the lady in the office told me they were only taking police calls at the time. I had no choice but to call back at a later time. I called back on 1/31 and she quoted me $375 to winch my truck out. I declined and decided to do it myself. When I went to get my truck it was not on the side of the road it was in their lot. They towed my truck to their lot after I declined service from them and charged me $695 to get my truck back.

When this customer originally called, it was the day of an ice storm. He is correct, at the time, keeping major interstates and main roadways open for police departments is where we focused our time and resources. The following day, we were still doing a fair amount of cleanup work after the storm from roadways, ditches, shoulders etc. Our dispatchers are not allowed to give exact quotes over the phone for winch outs for the sole reason that there is always some unforeseen circumstance that we dont know about or that the customer doesn't necessarily see. When we gave the customer a minimum to recover his loaded Dodge Ram 4500 with a plow and salt spreader, he didnt like our price. Unfortunately, some time later, Missouri State Highway Patrol called us to remove the vehicle that was partially blocking the roadway. At that point, we sent trucks out to recover the vehicle and tow it back to our yard. There is no way that we couldve known that this was the same customer, nor do we keep contact information for customers that don't choose to use our services. When the customer came to our lot to pick the vehicle up, he was very upset, threatened to drive thru our gate, and was very rude to our employees. Even with all of this going on, we still discounted any storage on the vehicle in order to try to work with the owner of the vehicle. Even after staying with our original recovery rate, and adding in the tow to the lot, after discounting $100 for storage, this customer was still so upset that he wrote vulgar language on our invoice/reciept. (see reciept that the customer attached)

Thursday, October 20, 2022 I called A2B towing to tow my 2017 Chevy equinox from ****** in *** ******* to ********* ******* **** in St. Peter’s and was quoted $85. When the tow arrived to pick up my car I received a text saying I needed to pay for the tow. The amount was $159.06. I called the office and told them that was not the estimate I was given and I wouldn’t be using their services. **** said they would leave my car at ******. I received a call shortly after saying if I didn’t pay the $159.06 my car would be impounded. The man on the phone stated he had a business to run and he had to pay his employees. I told him to please listen to any recorded calls because that $85 was the price I was quoted and please do not impound my car. Just leave it at ****** like **** said. I ended up paying the full $159.06 for the tow so my car would not be impounded. I would like a reimbursement of $59.

We tried calling and emailing the customer to reimburse their $59.  So far we have to heard back on either platform.  Please contact us so we can do so, we would be happy to fix this situation.    Tell us why here...
