I contracted with them to install a concrete pad for a large barn to be built on my property. In the process of doing that either a concrete truck or rock truck hit an existing concrete pad that goes into my small barn and cracked it. I brought to the owner’s attention but he has not refunded money or replaced the damage. At this point I would like a refund.

I had talked to ** ********* about this. My foreman told me when we were digging footings he had checked the outside of the existing building for power.

At that time he observed the hairline crack across the north corner of the existing approach. We were finishing up footings and there had been no concrete trucks or rock trucks

    on the building site.

The *********** have a ten to twelve thousand pound excavator and a nine thousand pound track loader in the building that drives over this concrete, its the only way in and out.

I'm sorry they have a crack in their concrete. I am not responsible. I never observed any of my equipment over at the Other building site.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

***** and my husband had a conversation about this at the job site right after we discovered the crack. ***** showed him the tire marks in the grass and dirt from a tire that doesn’t fit our equipment or a regular truck tire. I tried to add some pictures we took that ***** showed him as well but the files are too large.

    Sincerely,

    ***** *********

Yes I meet with *** ********* out on jobsite. Thats when I explained to him that the crack was already there when we were digging footings, Before I had any of my rock and concrete trucks on the site!

I know the ********* has rock trucks through the same area and a large roll back truck capable of hauling two 40' x 8' x 8' metal con x containers in the same area. They also had a large truck hauling a low boy trailer with a dozer to level out the building pad.
