My complaint is about the contractor that did shoddy work. I called them up because they took my toilet out and put their bad one in. I called to tell him about it and he said he is too busy to fix the toilet. He put in brand new wooden floors in the bathroom and I didn&#**;t want that in my house. They did what they wanted to my house and I was not allowed to be there. He cut the pipe off my outside faucet. He never showed up to fix it even though I paid him to do this work. I spent $4000 more out of my pocket because his work was shoddy. I paid him to put the blinds up in my house and he didn&#**;t do it. All the heavy stuff they were supposed to move out of my house, I paid them $850 for this. They got paid over $10,000 to work on my house. I borrowed this money from the bank and I don&#**;t have the money for another contractor to come redo his work. I told him I was going to report him to H363137**3238313831H and he said do what you have to do. He took advantage of me. I am disabled. I would like for him to come back and make the repair.

************** was 100% active in the remodel of his home during the entire renovation process from beginning to end from selecting paint colors as well as flooring, fixture finish colors. Communication was via phone while ************** was on vacation for 9 days.
The original estimate increased from the original amount due to EXTREME smoke damage and mold found in the kitchen from a leaking sink drain that rotted most of the bottom cabinets and wall. ************** was informed of this and that all bottom cabinets would need to be replaced as well as mold remediation and drywall removal/ repair. via Phone ************** instructed staff to repair what needs to be repaired. ************** upon returning to his home was very satisfied and happy with the work performed.************* received an entire home remodel from  Painting, extreme smoke removal, drywall repairs, light fixtures, LVP Flooring, appliances, bathroom cabinets. Kitchen cabinets, faucets, kitchen sink, tub glazing, interior doors, kitchen, vent covers, electrical outlets, plumbing repair and back splash for a grand total of  $16,490.00 materials and labor.
Once ************** received the final invoice, he began to complain about the work performed.  Handyman In a Van offered to come back to the property and look over the complaints and was told that our staff is not welcome and to stay away and that he did not want them back.
************** has called office staff yelling and screaming about the final ***** He has called the staff members cell phone approximately 6 times and leaves voicemails with his threats of suing and filing complaints with the BBB.
Handyman In a Van and Property management reduced Mr. ****** by $3,000.00 as a courtesy. ************* was never charged for mini blinds or for Junk removal. The Junk removal interior was already completed upon arrival by one of Mr. ****** associates.
************** Still has an outstanding invoice for work performed of $3,020.12 and refuses to pay.
Handyman In a Van *** Property Management will not be returning to Mr. ****** property due to his erratic behavior, threats as well as asking us not to return. It is not in my employees best interest in regards to safety. We wish ************** well.

I am rejecting this response because:

I'm disputing everything they said. I wasn't intown when they were working on my house. I was in ******, **. Also with her saying I cussed them out, I was in the bank with the loan officer. She didn't like what I had to say and said her husband doesn't even speak to her that way. I also never threw them out my my house. He left the job and it was in shambles. I had to pay anther $4,000 of my pocket because what was left undone. I had to have someone put up blinds, the toilet was leaking, and none of the bolts were tightened on the toilet. The ring that goes on the toilet was placed on backwards. The paint job was also shotty and bleeds through. They put down cheap wooden floors even in my bathroom. I told them I wanted linoleum put in the kitchen and bathroom and they put down the cheap wood flooring throughout the home. They charged me $5,400 for the wooden floor and my loan officer refused to pay it because they said it would be the same price as the carpet. That's the only thing I discussed with her. I did not discuss anything with them about fixing things. They shouldn't be taking advantage of a disable senior citizen.

    Sincerely,
