Don't go here unless you want to over-pay by a lot! I took my car in to have them check out what I thought was a blown head gasket, coolant was leaking into my oil. I paid $150 to get a response from the tech, who emailed me a picture holding up the dipstick showing coolant mixed with oil. Exactly what I said in the first place. Their remedy was to put in a used engine with 90k miles on it, lifetime warranty, and manufacturer recommended shocks and struts. They quoted me over $12,000 for everything. I paid $18,000 for the car 8 months prior and they acted like my only choice was to accept their remedy or junk the car. I didn't think twice about getting a second opinion. Their quote for replacing the head was less than $4,000, no other work. I was given the option for replacing the engine with factory new, no miles, for $6,400. Needless to say, Christian Brothers is a ripoff and I was warned ahead of time not to go there. However, I was desperate but learned a huge lesson NOT to do business with them. I never will again. I suggest everyone else to think twice about trusting them with their cars. There's plenty of trustworthy auto shops near Parkville and Riverside, not to mention dealerships. This is the first auto repair shop to charge me $150 to pull the dipstick and recommend replacing the engine. I don’t know a lot about car repair but treating me like a sucker is abhorrent.

Mr Bruce A****, if you are this upset over paying for a diagnostic, please give me a call. There is no way any one could sell you a new engine and install it for $6400. We stand by our honesty and integrity, so if you would like to discuss anything related to your quote, please call me. We estimated struts, shocks and all the tasks and parts needed to properly replace an engine. Such as reinstalling your AC system with refrigerant, coolant flush, transmission flush, new belts, gaskets, etc. Your assessment of our business is not fair nor factual.

This business is dishonest, discriminatory against me, and refuses to resolve problem. I have been going to this shop for a short time, and always had a good experience, clear and transparent. During my most recent visit, and employee by the name of Jeramy was in charge of my vehicle. From the moment I dropped off my car, I felt a hint of attitude. After confirming with another employee to refuse diagnostic for my radiator hose, I was instructed to leave my keys and I will be update. I came to the shop with three problems in mind, radiator hose, TPMS lights, and AC not blowing hot air. The only job that was completed was the radiator hose. When I asked about the other two jobs, he stated that i refused service. No where in my work-order indicated I refused service. I asked to speak with the shop manager, Scott S***. During this conversation, it felt like me vs them. Scott was not willing to listen to reasoning and insisted that I do not come back for service. If you are a people of color, do not shop there, but this might be what they want end the end.
