Went into the bank at 9400 E.Hampton to do business. As soon as I walked into the door both tellers closed their windows.I stood their for a few minutes.I ask Brittani why she close. She stated be I'm on the phone. She was texting on her personal phone. The other teller who closed Kashaya she opened backup and waited on another customer who had just walked in the door.So I asked the teller that was at the window waiting on customers to help me.I went today to the branch 12/5/2024 to report them.He made excuses for both of them. All very unprofessional.I've been with this bank for 19 years and have never been treated so poorly.

Aweful mobile banking. Unable to anything! Cant transfer funds from outside checking acct even though the checking acct # I entered is correct. Locating the monthly statement according to get directions does not work! I guess I should have known that with a $0 balance I would still get charged $12 every month.

Stay away!!!! Academy Banks customer service is horrible, customer service is argumentative in regards to their inability to understand what you are calling about. When you ask for a supervisor, you will be told there isn't one or "accidentally" get hung up on! I made it perfectly clear I was calling about a sister branch, Armed Forces credit card I was calling on, both Academy Bank and Ared Forces bank share the same customer service number, they closed the wrong account! I didn't even know until I attempted to use my credit card! They then refused to expedite my new card, due to their own mistake so I closed my account!!! Poor customer service and bad company to do business with. Stay away!!

If I could give a negative rating, I would do so. Hands down this is the worst bank to do business with and it doesn't matter if you are walking into the bank or calling the online banking customer service. I am currently filing a formal complaint with the OCC who overseas this bank not the FDIC for the next person looking to file. I am sure that will happen sooner than later. To start, a check was deposited into my checking account, it was a decent amount and as expected a 7 day hold was placed. The standard $100 that most banks release immediately was even withheld. I had an emergency and reached out to the bank. The supervisor at the bank was nothing short of rude, disrespectful, and ego driven. I informed her of the emergency and stated I just needed $25 placed into the account so I could take a cab (I was stuck in a state, knew no one, was not in a safe place, needed to just get to the airport) and her response was "I don't care, I'm not releasing a dime." After arriving back home, I would like to say unharmed but that is not the case, I had to deposit a large cashier's check written by one of the big 3-not a person-but the actual bank-before I deposited it I asked the teller if a long hold would be placed because if so I could not deposit it there. I was given a paper that showed when it would be disbursed in 3 stages. Needless to say, it was held for over 10 days every penny, the teller didn't inform me that she was the supervisor the same one who said "I don't care," The first disbursement didn't happen I called was told it would happen on the 2nd disbursement. It did not, I called again and was told it's all being held every penny. I asked for the DM name and was hung up on, I had to get the DM's information from their sister bank. Spoke with him and was told it would be released on the 5th, it's the 5th and it's still being held. When calling today to speak to the DM all I get is he's not here. Branch 130's supervisor holds funds because she can-RUN!

Where to start. There has been nothing but issues from the start since setting up account to my Account being closed . Academy Bank has horrible customer service atleast by the representatives I encountered . They don't care about the security and privacy of your account . God forbid if your account ever gets any unauthorized transactions you'll most likely recieve bias and unjustly treatment and not see your funds ever again and you wont recieve any help. In my experience its not worth it to bank here I would recommend seeking an alternative bank that has your security and privacy of personal information as there top priority with increased fraud monitoring .

This is semi-hilarious!!! You have to laugh... They locked my account due to "inactivity" and it took several calls to get things opened up. Finally, I was able to make the Zelle transfer successfully (only $116). ONE WEEK LATER, it was locked up again... more phone calls (Brandon and Thomas) and now, "they will call me back."

Hi They are deliberately messing up my wife's credit for a $15.00 (paid) charge off. We had a credit card with air academy in CO (owned by academy bank) opened in 2013. We traveled for my job MO ,TX,AZ, TX finally back in MO. so some of our mail was lost/never received. We closed this account in 2017. In 2017 we received letter from I think Don, that we had an outstanding balance for $15.00. I called and paid that. They still won't remove that small PAID collection off her report. I sent them a letter last month sating I would pay another $15.00 so they would be double paid but they won't respond. It was paid in 2017 but one report says they put a new collection in Feb 2021 for the same old account. I would never recommend doing business with any company that will allow your credit to be ruined for over 6 years after being made full. Of course no one will reply to my letter or previous letters to them. Terrible bank for doing that in my opinion.

I have been a customer of two branches, and I have been treated very courteously at all times. Never had a problem that was not addressed in a timely fashion.

Terrible company and terrible place to work. If you want to work here, dont. They take advantage of hard workers and make them work ***** hour shifts with no breaks. I was the only one running a branch one day with no access to vault. Customers screaming at me for something I cant control. The WORST bank I have worked for. I also banked here and just:.. dont. There are so many other banks that are way better.

I misplaced my debit card in my car when I traveled through **** and realized I needed gas to get home. The customer agent online tried to help me add my card to my Apple wallet virtual card to use. Mind you, I have my debit card number, expiration date and the 3 digits security code. After almost an hour, I couldnt get the wallet to pay at the gas station. So, the agent decided to disabled my debit card, which would leave me without a way to buy gas through the Apple wallet. This man calamines its company protocol. I called back and verified my identity, then I got a supervisor that treated me like a thief asking me to email her a selfy of my face, my drivers license, and the debit card. I told her she was leaving me stranded in a small town with 3 gas stations and 1 bank. The supervisor ****** stated yelling at me that she was following company protocol to protect me from fraud charges. Is this woman CRAZY?!?!? I was by myself in my card at a rest stop driving from **** to Colorado!!!! ***** left me stranded in *********** ****! I told ************ was closing my account as soon as I find a bank. This broad screamed at me and hung up. 5/3/2023. On 5/6/2023, back in ******** **, I asked to withdraw all my money and closed the account. After the man asked why, I told him what ***** did to me. Today 3/7/2023, I checked online and this man never closed out my account. Do these people have listening skills and common sense?
