But then they told me the car already sold. a: If I am asked to pay deposit of $500 for the car if I break the deal, how and why they can break the deal easily. b: Sales consult TD and sales manager DF simply left a voice mail advising car already sold, without any good reason, and asking me to call them back for Subaru Limited. c: Now think backwards, they try to hold me long then change the deal to any other offer as they know my need is urgent, d: how and why they can collect my personal information for nothing.

*** *** did not want to put a deposit on the 1st vehicle and that vehicle did sell.  A deposit was placed on an incoming unit on 03-08-24, which we matched the price on and current ETA is May for us to receive the vehicle.

At Lee's Summit Subaru's suggestion, had AC unit replaced, on recall. Now it doesn't work. Contacted headquarters. Still nothing done.

She made a complaint prior to her even making an appointment for her vehicle to be serviced. She hadn't been seen in this location in over a year.

Paid deposit money to hold a vehicle. They held the vehicle. They had my wife sign a paper explaining that this paper was to be sure they were holding the proper vehicle. It was later discovered that this was a manipulation to sign a paper that was agreeing to their terms and price with no ability to negotiate or further discuss the vehicle. We had concerns before making the purchase, especially with some strong coolant smells. The dealership refused to acknowledge our concerns and said we already signed their sales sheet. We did not back out of the deal but the dealer relisted the van that we put a deposit on. Clearly with no intent to sell it to us. They refuse to return phone calls and will not speak with us. We just want our deposit back. Bad business.

***** wife was at our dealership and negotiated a car deal. She signed a non-refundable deposit for the vehicle. Later, they decided against the car and backed out of the deal. The forms clearly state that our deposits are non-refundable.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

There were no negotiations. There was very misleading representation of documents.  You should monitor your sales people more closely. Your salesman asked my wife to sign a piece of paper to “clarify which vehicle she was putting a deposit on”. He never explained that she was committing to a price. My wife also clearly stated that she would not discuss pricing until both of us were present. We never backed out of the deal. We have been waiting to speak to the general sales manager who hasn’t made an effort to speak to us. Just be clear and honest with people. I have honestly never had an experience like this. Honesty and transparency go a long way.

    Regards,
