Contacted ***** ******* to pour 2 driveway entrance's We have a U-Shaped driveway that needed concrete at the entrances. ***** ******* the owner assured me he could do the job correctly, on time and on budget. ***** poured the first driveway entrance and everything seemed great. After the first one was set, he poured the other entrance. When I arrived home that evening, the entrance was trash. It was not smooth, it had little pockets in it. It was not even close to the first one he poured. He apologized and came back and re poured that entrance. After the re pour that entrance looked great. A couple months went by and the first entrance he poured started to crack. He admitted via voicemail and messenger that he poured it wrong and he was in a hurry. I called him and he said that he would come out and replace it since it was his fault. 9 months later and the driveway was not re poured. After calling and asking him to re pour it, he kept putting me off. Finally I messaged him to ask for his insurance information so I could file a claim and get my driveway corrected from another contractor. That is when he threatened me to come tear out the entrance and leave it. He refused to give me any insurance information. He did respond with ***** **** incorporated as his insurance company. Buyer beware... not sure he even has insurance. After a heated exchange on messenger he told me that he had a company tearing out my drive entrance. I rushed home and found no one there thankfully. Even had the police called because he threatened to destroy my property.

    Business response

He told us about small cracks that may been caused by someone else; we are not convinced we made the cracks. His driveway runs into the highway. We told him that we would get to him when we could and would do additional work for him.  He got belligerent and I've decided not to do any further work for him.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

He continues to lie.  He agreed that the concrete was poured wrong by the road.  The concrete is not in the road way.  It is next to the road.  He replaced the other entrance for the same reason... he poured it to fast and the sight of the pour was not ready but he did not want to cancel the concrete truck.  His words not mine.

You can see by the original complaint that he started threatening me and my property.  (See attachments)  He told me the replacement would be completed in March of 2022.  The complaint was made on BBB Late October with no date or work lined up to fix the problem.

    Sincerely,

    *** ******
