At the end of August, I traded my vehicle - 2007 **** Edge for a 1996 Dodge Ram. I bought it for $4,000 and now they say I owe almost $10,000 on it. They sold me a truck with no *** plates and I can&#**;t get it legal. I did get *** plates on Mon, Feb 3 and I still can&#**;t get a title and plates on it. I got pulled over by ***** police but they did not give me a ticket because they felt sorry for me. When I got pulled over a few months ago, this is when I found out there was no *** number for the vehicle. I have been pulled over multiple times since. I am having problems getting the *** plates on it. They said there is not guarantee that it has been through a chop shop. I told the dealership about it and they didn&#**;t care. They did nothing. I told them I will no longer make payments to them. I told them I am opening an escrow account and make payments to the courts through this. I will be suing them. I told them any phone calls from them would be considered harassment. I want my money back and for this dealership to be shut down.

Subject: RE: Concerns Regarding 1996 Dodge Ram

    To Whom it May Concern:
I understand the customers frustration, and Id like to clarify a few key points regarding her vehicle.
The 1996 Dodge Ram does have a ***, as required by law. We performed a Missouri Vehicle Inspection (MVI) before the sale, and an AutoCheck report was available.
If there were any concerns regarding the *** at the time of purchase, we were not made aware of them. The vehicle was sold in good faith, meeting legal requirements.
If she encountered difficulties titling or registering the vehicle, we would have been happy to assist, and still would.
Her financing agreement remains valid, and failing to make payments could have consequences, including repossession and negative credit reporting.
If she would like to discuss resolving this matter amicably, I encourage her to reach out so we can review any documentation and work towards a solution.
    Best,

Traded in a car here for a newer car. Was told the new car was in perfect condition. A couple moths in the car started having problems. I took it to a shop and it needed a ton of work. The car was unsafe to drive. Licas refused to pay for it so i told them i would like to return the car but would like the 2100 they sold my old car for. They assured me I would get that money. After returning the car they refused to pay me and said i abandoned the car and stopped payments.

******* ****** purchased a 2013 Kia ***** Customer reached out several weeks after purchasing her vehicle saying her vehicle was unsafe to drive. We had the customer bring the car to us to fix the issues she brought up. We took the vehicle and got several shop opinions on the current status of said vehicle. None of the shops could duplicate any problems the customer complained about and verified it was safe to drive.

After contacting ******* with our results, she came by our office and spoke to *****. She stated she was giving the vehicle back because someone else had given her a free vehicle. She never mentioned receiving any refund nor did she ask for a refund at that time.

The vehicle passed a state inspection from a reputable service shop a day after the vehicle was given back. Sold a day later and never had any complaints from the new customer. They were satisfied at the way the vehicle drove just fine.

The communication from the BBB is the 1st that we are hearing of Ms. ************** complaint.  Unfortunately, i have read the complaint several times and i do not understand what she is trying to say.

As always we are here to help all of our customers.  Please let me know if anything anything develops further.

On 1/26/22 Ms. ************* purchaseda 2010 Charger from our dealership.  on the date of purchase, the vehicle had zero frontend/suspension issues.  The vehicle has a state MVi to attest to that fact.

If Ms. ************** vehicle developed issues that she wanted fixed, we were not aware of those issues.   I cannot imagine why we would be responsible for her choice to drive a vehicle that she knew/believed had mechanical issues.

Moreover, although im no expert, hydroplaning is due to an accumulation of water between the road and the tires of a vehicle which allows for a vehicle to "hydro-plane" across the top of the water.

We are always willing to help our customers by provideng discounted auto repairs.  And that will still apply to Ms. ************* should she choose to communicate the issues to us and bring the vehicle to us for repair.

    Sinvcerely

About a year ago I bought a car from this company, I was so eager to get a car i didnt realize they charged me 7k for a car that was built in 07, I had 2k put down and i believed I was spending 5k overall, and on the very first day I bought it home I knew there was something wrong as the coolant was reeking and boiling out of the engine. I contacted before mentioned company and was told they would have it repaired for a fee. If I was smarter I would have called a lawyer right then and there but alas I didn't and kept my end of the bargain, for a time. Shortly thereafter I had a offer to move to another city I did so and the car didn't even make it two hours on the road, even after I had gotten the oil changed the transmission went out and shortly after so did the battery, this is my formal I am defaulting on the loan, I will not be checking back here, feel free to come and get the car, that's been sitting for about ten months :)

Complaintant's claims are all false. Complaintant is fully aware of the cost of the vehicle as it was stated several times in our contract, which he signed in all spaces and was given a copy of. We're unable to look at or repair any vehicle if owner is unwilling to afford us the time to do so. This is a clear admission of guilt to not pay for the vehicle as originally agreed upon in our legally binding contract and this information will be used to pursue and recover any costs and past due monies owed.
