Had a service technician come look at my Samsung Dryer last week. As we suspected, the heating element was in need of being replaced. This is the first time that I have used this company because my usual appliance repair tradesmen had the flu. The company charges a $99 service fee which is pretty standard (just to come out). After doing a bit of research and talking to my usual repair company, it is very clear that we were grossly over charged. The service guy was very nice and worked about 15 minutes on the dryer. However, he did make claims that this company is the only Samsung authorized repair company in the area. Which is just not true. I looked up the part that was replaced and it can be purchased for $152 at ****'s. If you add that with a $99 service fee...... I'm sure you can do the math. My usual tradesmen also confirmed that we were extremely over charged. What I was charged is broken down below. I gladly wrote the check that day because we were in a pinch and am not looking for a refund. However, I will never recommend this company to friends, family or real estate clients. They may have gotten extra money from us this time. But, they will never get any future business from anyone I know. If you do need a good reliable and trustworthy appliance company in NEA, please call Appliance 911. They have taken care of us for about 5 years and are very good guys.
