    We purchased a 2011 maual chevy cruze from this car lot with 98k miles on it. We started having several issues right away, my husband was able to fix them so we didn't complain. However right around the 30 day mark of owning this car my husband drove to NC to visit his mother and pick up our new puppy. He couldn't even make it home, smoke started pouring into the car and transmission fluid poured out all over the ground, he was stranded in TN still 700 plus miles from home with a 8 week old puppy on a Sunday. So he had to call a tow truck to drop it off to a closed repair shop, find a pet friendly hotel, meanwhile I had to locate a rental car on Sunday because I had now way to get to him, find a sitter for our foster kids and bio kids that could stay the night and get them to school so I could drive all night to get my husband. The repair shop called, the transmission is shot in this car, 30 days we got to drive this car that we paid 6k for. We reached out to the owner and asked him if he would please make this right, he's refusing. A good reputable dealer would make this issue right, it is 2400 dollars to fix this car and we have to spend more money to go back to TN from Mo to get the car when it's fixed, so more money, time, and stress because he won't fix this situation. We'll also have to find a sitter because you cant take foster kids out of state. We were sold a lemon and ****** ****** is not a reputable dealer, we just want to save anyone that we can this headache. Do not purchase a car from this lot if you want it to last longer than 30 days.

    We are sorry to hear that our customer had a problem with the vehicle after purchase. Our process when selling a vehicle is to fix any issues ourself or the shop notices and to get the vehicle inspection. When the customers came and looked at the vehicle they brought multiple people and drove it multiple times and said everything was good, we negotiated price and came to a deal. During the paperwork process I explained that we do sell all vehicles as is with no warranty. I also explained that it would come with current Missouri safety and emissions inspections. The customers contacted me after around 30 days saying the vehicle had broken down, they also stated that the shop told them it had been leaking some transmission fluid and they had been having some issues getting it into 1st and 3rd gear. Rather than check to see why this issue was happening they chose to drive it across the country and back and then transmission apparently failed. We make it very clear when selling them that they are sold as is with no warranty of any kind. We unfortunately cannot predict the future. We would never purposely sell a vehicle with issues but issues can occur with a used vehicle especially thousands of miles later after the purchase. Above I have attached copies of the as is form and the Missouri safety and emissions inspections.
