I sent my car to this shop for a estimate, which I've NEVER gotten one in writing. I was told to junk my car because it's so old. I told him no why would I do that when I have car shield on my car. Which this shop told me and car shield that my block in my engine was blown, which is not true. I sent it to the auto dealers shop and they sent me an estimate thru email. Which talks nothing of a blown block. I want my $100.00 back which I paid then thru cash app to them. I will attack the 2nd estimate to this complaint

On 3/11 my car stopped. I got the car towed to ****** Auto in ************* initially because thats where I was when it stopped. About a week later, I was able to get the car towed to Go flex auto in ********. I spoke with Go flex auto and the representative Nez told me that I needed a new motor from it overheating and that he would look around for one and call when he found one. I got a call around the 18th of March saying that they found a motor and that it would be put in within a few days but that I needed to come and put a $1000 deposit down so that they could buy it. I did that. I went into the shop and paid $1000 cash and received a receipt. On March 21st I received a text stating that the motor mount bracket as well as the spark plugs and gaskets needed to be replaced but that one of which was a dealer part and they would not have it until the next day. I was advised that it would be a couple of hundred more and that they would let me know the exact price when the vehicle was running. On Saturday March the 23rd. I received a call that my vehicle was ready and the total would be 3565 or 3575 minus the $1000 deposit that I put down previously. So on 3/23/24 I went to the bank and got the money out. I went to pick up the vehicle, I was told that it had been running all day and wasnt smoking or overheating. I was also told that the vehicle was taken on the highway and showed no issues. I picked up the car at about 12 or 1pm and I noticed that the car was still smoking as well as overheating and the check engine light had come BACK on, it was off previously. I sent a text message to the goflex auto representative line at 2:11pm letting them know that the vehicle was still overheating. They advised me not to drive it and that they would come and tow the vehicle because the issue may be the radiator now. On Monday march 25th. The vehicle was picked up by go flex auto and it was determined by a goflex auto representative that the radiator was bad and it was leaking. They went on to say(via text) that the thermostat housing would also need to be replaced. Later that afternoon at 1:31pm I received a text stating that the car had been running for a couple of hours and that they were going to take it on another test drive but that it seemed fine. On 3/25, that same evening at about 5:15pm I went and picked up the vehicle and paid $450 plus dollars for the repair of the radiator and the thermostat housing. On 3/26 My car had an issue starting and the check engine light which was off had come back on the very next day. It would not start initially and then it took a few tries for it to start. When it did start, I noticed that the battery light was now on in the car. I sent a text message to the representative line letting them know what was going on as well. Someone responded back stating that it could just be a sensor but they did not address the battery light. On Saturday 4/6. I was at a stop light and shifted my car into parkit would not come out of park and it would not cut off. The car was saying it was in park but it was still moving and it would not turn off. and I was stuck at the intersection of ****** and ************* until an officer and a civilian helped me push it into the parking lot. When we got to the lot, I was able to get the car to really be in Park and shut off and then, it would not come back on. I called go flex auto again and The car was towed again and I was told that the gear shift cable was stretched and that it needed to be replaced but the part wouldnt be in until The following Monday. That was another $200. When I got the car back on Monday April 8th I noticed that the battery light was now off and the check engine light was off as well. The very next day, the check engine light came back on. At that point, I was tired of dealing with this particular shop so I took the vehicle to auto zone to see why the check engine light keeps coming back on. I was told that there were 3 codes and one of them was a generic catalytic converter code which was more than likely cleared out to appease me. I have been unable to get my vehicle registered because of this check engine light and I relayed this to the Goflex representatives as well as the Owner *****. I always park in the same spot which has collected spotting from when my car was leaking coolant before it was fixed. On April 22nd 2024 my car overheated while running idle and I noticed that there was some new leaking from the car again. I called Goflex auto again and was told to bring the car back. At this point, I declined! I have a 90 day warranty and this car has been back and forth into this shop 3x and the issue is still unresolved!. On April 26th, I went to Advance auto parts to see if they would get a different code for my check engine light to compare to autozone. The interaction was redirected because the representative noticed that there was oil sitting inside the base of the motor mount, I believe. He said that I should go and put a cardboard box under the car to see what exactly was leaking from the car. On 4/26 I documented via photo the new stops and confirmed that the engine was indeed leaking oil. Since 4/26 I have called Goflex auto in an attempt to speak to the owner about this at least 6x that are documented in my call log. Each time I am told by a representative that the owner is either busy with another customer, unavailable, or not in the shop. I sent a text message on 4/27 stating my complaints with photos and highlighting the poor service that I had received since 3/18. I also stated that I would be asking for a partial or full refund. I reminded the company that since they do not have a courtesy car and since I have to work Mon-Friday in des *****, it is extremely hard as a single mother of 5 to be without a car as I have been on and off since dealing with them. I let them know that it was not fair to me to have to pay for their services and pay to ********* myself and my children in an XL lyft and still have to pay for the vehicle to get fixed and the issue has STiLL never been fully resolved. I still cannot have this car pass emmissions and now, I am unable to speak to the owner about getting a partial/full refund even though I am less that 2 months into my warranty and have had consistent issues with my vehicle since they fixed it initially. I did not receive any response and now it seems that I am being avoided. I would like to have this issue resolved before my warranty is over and this company gets away with not fixing my vehicle and taking my money

We put a motor in her car and the car is moving. The radiator was leaking. We had nothing to do with that. She is trying fix things that we weren't responsible for. We towed the vehicle for free. It was a hose and we fixed it for free. she called to say that her battery did not work. She thought that because we put a motor in the vehicle everything would work right. We explained the vehicle had been neglected. we told her about a bad catalytic converter. She is driving the car now.

I am rejecting this response because:

The car is no longer running. The motor that they “replaced” Blew again on Saturday. There is no receipts of them ever purchasing a motor and there is no motor listed on my parts although I do have a text message from them stating that they replaced the molded. The car is no longer running. The car was leaking oil as well as coolant. Nothing was fixed for free and nothing was for free. Nothing was fixed at all. The car is sitting in a parking lot near 9600 Natural Bridge Rd. I have had to take this entire week because I don’t have a way to work. I have included the receipts that do not show a motor the parts listed in any manner. They charged me for $3300 In labor. As an independent mom of  five. I cannot get my children daycare. I cannot go to the grocery store. I cannot go to the laundromat. I can’t do anything that isn’t costing me money. And I don’t have money to spend. Because I already spent a large amount of money trying to get this car fixed. At this point, I do not trust them to fix anything on my car. I would like a refund. Because they did not replace the motor. And there is no proof that they did. As I stated, the part is not listed and when I spoke to the owner before he could not produce a receipt for the part either.

    Sincerely,
    Jazmine Addison

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

You did offer $1500 but, I paid over 4000. There is no receipt for a new motor. There is nothing showing that the motor was even replaced and it went out again. That 2015 Dodge Journey has been sitting in a parking lot for months. Right after I put that much money in it. At this point it does not matter. But, because I see that no one else is going to do anything to rectify this situation to the customer’s Benefit…..I feel like I am forced to take the $1500 because it’s at least something but nothing near what is deserved or what was spent. As I stated, I am a mother of five who is a nursing student and works at a clinic in De Pere. I just went to this place thinking that I will be treated right and it is unfortunate that it has not turned out that way.

    Sincerely,

    Jazmine Addison

I purchased a car that was described to not have any existing problems. The care has literally been in the shop every week since Ive had it and Ive had it less than 30 days. Ive already had 1 major repair done to the care and Ive been diagnosed for another one. This place is not ethical at all and did a hot inspection on the car just to get it off their hands. They keep telling me nothing is wrong with the care when its obvious something is wrong. They will not offer to repair anything.

Service date was 07/26/2022 I got an alternator and battery replacement plus labor which cost me $972.63 I picked my truck up, drove home only to notice my air had stopped working. I took it right back up there, told them my concerns and was told that they didnt work around any components that would affect my air. I asked if he could double check and they pulled my truck in literally 5 mins and pulled it back out and said there is nothing they can do and if I wanted to get it checked or fixed I would have to pay for services. I left upset because he treated my concerns as if it wasnt valid or not their fault. I told them I dont trust them to work on my truck again because my air was working perfect before leaving it with them. I suffered the rest of the summer in heat because after getting it looked at by ***** lube, they stated that I would need a new compressor which would have costed me another $900 plus for parts and labor. I couldnt afford it because I had just paid for the truck to get fixed. 2 weeks later my battery gauge started moving up and down periodically and my battery saving mode kept coming on. Once it was time for my oil change I had them checked the the battery but they said they found nothing. Finally after my truck died twice, but my warranty had expired so I found a new shop to take it to and they were able to find the problems. I had burned electrical wires due to being pinched between a/c compressor and oil filter housing which needed replacing. They also found that my air compressor was disconnected so I didnt need a new compressor, I had missing and loose screws where the alternator and battery would need repairs. This resulted from the lack of repairs I was assured would be done correctly.
