I needed work on my bathroom sink, the chain on my toilet came off, as well as a leak under my kitchen sink. I was given an estimate of $645. I approved this. The kitchen sink was fixed but when they went to the toilet and stated that he needed to make another visit due to parts. I asked them not to start anything they could not finish. Then he went to the bathroom sink and said he would need to put 2 new parts but that did not fix the problem. They went to **** ***** and bought a faucet for $75 without telling me. They claim that I need an entire new faucet and now my bill would be $813. I wrote them a check for the amount charged but I have since put a stop on that check.

In regards to this complaint the customer's has an inaccurate account of how her service call went , however in light of the holidays we will honor her request to only pay $645, and we will send her an updated invoice with the new amount.
We have reached out to her numerous times to rectify this complaint and let her know that a new invoice for $645 will be mailed out. As of now she has not returned any phone calls.

I do not agree with ***** **** ******** assessment of the situation with the service call or the work that was done. ********* **** ******** did send out a Master plumbers He fixed the toilet and the checked all the other jobs to make sure they were all ok. I did pay them amount that was agreed upon which was the $645. I would not recommend this plumber to anyone much less to someone who has a disability.Initial Complaint

We used Maplewood Plumbing to fix a basement shower temperature issue 15 months ago. This shower we do not use. We now have an Au Pair living in the basement using the shower and recently discovered that Maplewood Plumbing did not actually fix the problem due to not assembling the dial on the shower. Only 1 temp comes out. When I attempted to explain this to them they more or less said I was wrong and its functioning even though its not. They dont stand behind their work and are hiding behind a 12 month warranty even though we had no clue until recently they didnt do the job we paid them to do in the first place. Simply want them to fix the problem we paid them for or refund us.Business response

We were initially out to his home 15 months ago. Our plumber came on site and removed the old cartridge and found that it was filled with a lot of calcium and debris, which was preventing it from working properly. After diagnosing the issue , the plumber left his home with a functioning basement shower. We understand that he does not use the shower all of the time however, when the plumber left, it was functioning and working properly. We sent a competent journeyman plumber to his home to complete the work needling to be addressed . When he called, we let him know that we could send a plumber back to his home and that still stands. We have reached out to him in regards to this issue.
