Purchased a vehicle a month ago. Soon after a tire blew out. I took it back it back to them. Another tire blew after that. I left it at the shop for a weekend due to a noise it was making. My husband noticed the bank blinkers were not working. My windshield wipers do not come on. My alternator has to be replaced now. They say it is a 30-day warranty, and it only covers the engine and transmission. My husband purchased a car just prior to mine and his car needs a starter. I am paying for a car and having to pay for a bunch of repairs at one time.Business response

To whom it may concern:
************************ purchased her vehicle on or around January 25th, 2024. On January 26th vehicle returned with a damaged tire. Something impacted tire and caused damage that could not be repaired. We charged her our cost on the tire and no charge to mount and balance. On January 29th she returned and we replaced a tail light bulb once again at no charge. Car repairs can be unpredictable and I am sorry if she is having an alternator problem at this time. We would be able to put her repair on an account and let her make payments over 90 days. Please let us know if this would help the unfortunate circumstances.
Thank you,

To whom it may concern:
***** ******* purchased a 2007 Kia Spectra 5. He put 4800 miles on it in 3 weeks. The vehicle was run out of oil and the engine was damaged. We have a 30 day warranty or 1000 miles whatever comes first.
Mr *******'s grandfather oked the repair shop to put a used motor in the vehicle. We are letting him put $700 down and the other $700 on his car not account. This is a total of $1400. This repair normally cost anywhere from $2500 to $3000.
I thought we were all in agreement of this offer to soften the problem. This is the very best we can do.
Sincerely,
**** ******

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder on 02/2023. Upon of the agreement I had to keep full coverage. I was recently in a accident. I did not know that the car was already totaled out. My insurance informed of this and that is a branded titled. I spoke to ****** about what the insurance informed me of. ****** stated that even with a branded title that the insurance company should pay out, but that is not the case. I sent the title to my insurance and they sent it to the DMV and they came back that the title was branded. ****** stated that she would contact me but she has not. So, now I am stuck with a car payment and without a car. I would like a replacement vehicle or to be out of my loan with this business.Business response

Ms ********* purchased a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder on Feb. 21, 2023 with $2700 down. She signed paperwork stating this is a prior salvage vehicle. See attached. She made 3 payments after that. See attached payment schedule. She was in an accident sometime in June and has not made a payment since. Her vehicle was repossessed for non payment. See attached notes in our system. A repossession title will be given to the Allstate in exchange for damage payments from the accident the vehicle was in while in Ms Whitfield's possession. We have not further interest in working with Ms. ********* in selling another vehicle. There will be a balance on the vehicle in question of around $1650.00 which she is still responsible for.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The company made false statements first I gave them 2700 upfront towards the down payment then they made me sign an agreement on a promissory note to pay $300 more which made the down payment $3000. Also I paid 4 car payment afterwards. This company is committing fraud and running a Ponzi scheme on customers. Not only do they require you to uphold full coverage on these cars knowing that the insurance companies will not pay out full coverage on pre total loss car. So the customer loses in the end because the company gets the little pay out from the insurance companies and the car leaving the buyer to still owe them payments on a vehicle they doesn’t have. The car they sold me no advise me that the vehicle had already been totaled out once before and that this car had a branded title.
Sincerely,

About a month ago I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape from St. Louis Auto Car Sales. That same day I noticed the radio didn't work. I contacted them and was told they didn't fix radios. A week or so later the remote or key wouldn't open the door. I had to my call insurance company for a lock out. I also contacted St. Louis Auto Car Sales and they told me to drop my car off. I dropped my car off on 6/25/23 and Monday they told me the car was ready. When I picked my car up I was told I needed to pay $139. The remote still doesn't work and I have to lock the door from the passenger side. I also asked if they were going to put a radio in my car and I was told they would talk to the manager about it. They knew the remote and radio weren't working properly when they sold me the vehicle.Business response

Mr. ****** purchased a 14 Ford Escape on or June 5th, 2023. He came back to the shop on June 22 stating he was having a problem with his key unlocking the door. We charged him 125 to have a key repair man make him a new working key for his door. This is not covered under any warranty. We do offer a 30 day engine and transmission warranty. Keys normally for this vehicle are $200 plus. We did discount the key replacement to the best we could. He also asked about his stereo at that time. I informed him at the time radio's are not something the repair shop can work on. He would need to take to a stereo repair shop.Customer response

I purchased a vehicle Oct 3, 2022 from this company, the day I purchased the day I paid $1,500 plus insurance. The next day I purchased the car they stated the car was leaking oil and also said the radiator was bad and the O2 sensor was bad. They fixed the car that I did not agree for them to fix and purchased the parts that was needed and the car been in the shop the second day I purchased it. I went back for the car and they told me I had to pay $60 for just bringing the car in. I spent over $3,000 on this car after the second day of buying the car. They took my car and wrecked it and now when I call to speak with the rep that was gone represent for me is now not in office anymore and can not talk to anyone anymore located on the office. I just want the company to either finish the job or exchange the vehicle for the same value of the car or betterBusiness response

*** ****** purchased a 2005 Subaru with $1500 down. Customer has put 2754 miles on the vehicle since purchase. He brought the vehicle in to check for an oil leak and a broken turn signal switch. We gave him an estimate on a new turn signal switch that was broken off and a new power steering pump that is leaking power steering fluid. I am not sure what ** ****** is referring to wrecking his car. He did have a nail in a tire that we repaired while it was here. Being a 2005 with 176xxx miles on it, repairs will happen. This is not a warranty repair. The vehicle came with a 30 day or 1000 mile warranty on the engine and transmission. I did call ** ****** a few days ago but there was no answer and a full voice mail box.

I bought a car here on the 5th of July. I took it back the same day because it had a problem that they should have fixed before they sold the car. And they charged me for those repairs. This company fraudulently sold me a defective vehicle, because those were no all of the repairs that it needed. I finally after 3 weeks with still more repairs needed I took the car back, and they let me out of the contract, but not without deducting every dollar that it took to repair the car, AND they charged me .75 for each mile that I had driven it. This company sells junk vehicles, women, watch out.Business response

******* ****** purchased the following vehicle from St. Louis Auto Car Sales on 07/05/2022 after test driving it. She had no complaints during or after the test drive. The vehicle passed Missouri safety & emissions inspections. She was given a 30 day warranty on the internal engine and transmission only. She later returned and stated she felt a vibration when braking at highway speeds. We had the shop look at the vehicle and recommended replacing the rotors to get rid of the vibration. Due to the fact that the rotors passed Missouri safety inspection as they were, we would have to charge her for the part only (no charge for the labor) and would give her 30 days to pay for the repair if she chose to replace the rotors. She agreed. She then returned on 07/14/2022 with concerns of a popping noise when turning. We had the shop check it out and found the noise was coming from a strut. Again, the strut did not fail Missouri inspection and was not in need of immediate attention. However, in an effort to accommodate *** ******, we again gave her an option to pay the repair at a later date (90 days). We discounted the labor rate on the job as well. On 7/20/2022 *** ****** suddenly informed us that she was dropping her required full coverage insurance and had no intentions of making any payments on the vehicle.
On 07/26/2022 we decided that despite our best efforts, she may never be a happy customer. We let her out of her binding contract and offered her a partial refund. She accepted it and seemed to be satisfied at that point.

I am rejecting this response because: They made me pay for parts and labor. I should not have had to pay for all of the parts. They only gave me $1149 of the $2300 I put down, and I paid for a bunch of repairs that I shouldn't have had to pay for. I have the receipt that shows that they charged me for labor for $333.60. That is not the only receipt I have that shows that I was charged for labor.
Sincerely,
******* ******
