They sent me 1 page of paper telling me to pay in 10 days or they will contact an "ATTORNEY'S OFFICE" in all caps like that. Also threatening a lawsuit. I had never heard of the alleged debt they were trying to collect. I sent a very thorough reply, requesting further details. Never heard from them again. Several months later, I get a frantic call from a family member. Twin Oaks had sent them a very similar 1 page of paper, for an alleged debt that they also have never heard of. This person does not reside at my address, and the collection letter was sent to them at their address. In thoroughly researching laws regarding debt collection practices, this organization violated almost every one of them. Now the business owner will probably come on here and call me a liar, like she did to the 2 previous commenters. But I, too, have proof. Of everything. Same with ****** reviews of Twin Oaks; the truthful ones are called liars. The positive ones are ONLY posted by personal friends of *********************, or by the sleezy clients she works for. Or she'll make comments like "we've never done business with you," as though the fact that someone's ****** profile name is not the same as the name she has on file for them. Well, no kidding, I wouldn't want to be harrassed further by ***, just because I'm trying to protect other people from her. This women needs to be stopped. People who don't know any better about their rights, will likely be duped by her intimidation tactics. This is fraudulent, illegal, and honestly despicable.

Sorry, but we have researched you in our system and we have found no records. There is another ***************** that does collections, but we are not affiliated with them. We get a lot of calls from upset people looking for them. I believe their company home office is located out of ***********.

The lady was rude, pushy, and yelling. Told me we can go round and round but I owe the ***** debt and the attorney would take care of it. They never verified my address and the address they had was Incorrect along with other information they had. They had supposedly contacted me via phone numerous times which was incorrect as well being I was hospitalized and didn’t have my phone at the time of contact back in February. There isn’t enough characters for me to type the whole incident here.

I was notified last month of a small debt from 3 years ago that I didn't know about The lady that called, ***, was pushy and rude and threatened to have me put on trial for said debt and she kept calling me once a week threatening me and harassing me

Very untruthful. The facts are, and can prove: 1. You were notified several times by the original creditor, a previous collection agency and also by us prior to any phone calls.2. Only two calls were made. The first call you were given 5 weeks to pay the debt, to help you, since you stated you needed time to pay this. We try very hard to work with each persons situation. The 2nd call, after the 5 weeks, was made advising the account could go to any attorney for further action (nothing mentioned about a trial) after you advised us you didn't care and was not going to pay. 3. At no time did you ever advise us that you were unaware of the debt. 4. Our office was not rude, but just factful.
