My biggest issue with Sun Solar is that there is not a single point of contact. When we were to get energy saving insulation etc in my home they REFUSED to put it in. I have a multi level roof and the insulation guys said that they wont put in the insulation if they have to take down the attic fan to do it. I said - well you didnt have a problem taking it down to install the solar panel wiring etc. and I was told that that was a different division. So I paid over 42k for a system and they will not put insulation in the top level roof. Im very disappointed. Id love to show them the math for the savings LOSS without the so called insulation and energy savings. You cannot get satisfaction. You get passed from person to person and I finally gave up. The salesman was AWESOME and when he was still working for them he tried to solve all of the issues. I recommended my daughter and SIL for solar too - just problems and difficulty in getting resolution.Review from Derek B

I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experience with Sun Solar. This experience has been so awful, I 100% regret spending over $42,000 on this system.They have continuously not shown up or rescheduled inspections, leaving the solar system useless and inactive on my roof. Their customer service has been abysmal. There is no reason I should be calling ****************, ******, and Sun Solar to try and get Sun Solar to show up, after they told me to show up and they don't. I have missed multiple days off work due to their poor judgement, so unless you want no-call-no shows from these guys, and being left at home waiting for an inspection, avoid this company.Review from Amanda C

I wish I could give them 0. They have called me 15+ times today. Sometimes 3-4 times in a row. I have told them to stop calling and to stop texting every single time! I will be contacting an attorney. I did not sign up for anything or request any information. I'm not even sure what prompted this craziness. You guys should not be in business. What you are doing is flat out harassment.Review from Rick V

I have got solar panels from them about five years ago. Theyre on the least program for the last two years my production has been dropping and Ive tried to contact them they dont call me back. They have very poor customer service and Id like to get the c*** off *******.Review from Drew J

After signing my contract for solar in April 2023, I still sit here today with no solar panels or answers. I have had 3 project managers. The first one I had never responded to me at all, and I was told she is "very busy" with all her projects. The second one really couldn't answer my questions, and then I never heard from her again. I found out I had a new/third project manager when he randomly called me one day. A few months back, I was told my project was about to be scheduled. Then I was told that all of my panels/materials were accidently taken by a crew to another project. Finally, I was told my install would be today, and then no one ever showed up. The entire process has been a joke, and for a very expensive purchase that I took very seriously, it seems like they could really care less when I get installed. Do your research an go with a different company. I can honestly say that I will being telling everyone in my area how horrible this experience was. I bought solar panels from sun solar and the Electric company would not allow the use of them. Sun solar would not refund my money. A 7.9kw system went to waste!!Review from Linda G

We love our solar panels from Sun Solar. We have great service from the company. Anytime we had an issue they came out and addressed it. Problem fixed. Awesome customer service. Love the $26 electric bills. We will have them put solar in our next home also.Review from Sandra H

I am so happy with Sun Solar. When my new 4g cell card came for my solar system it was not communicating. They have been out here twice & today it is working perfectly again. The gentleman who came couldn't have been nicer & ***** at Sun Solar has been very patient when I was upset & has worked with me to get scheduling done. I highly recommend this company if you are considering solar panels. They have saved us thousands a year in electric bills.

We do not have a signed contract for a project yet. It would be difficult to have an itemized equipment list this early in the process.
