They actually deserve ZERO STARS!!I think this company is running a SCAM out of their home..On 11/14/2024 ***** came to my home to service my hot water heater. He came to my door empty handed to work on my water heater. He had nothing in his hand but a cell phone. He told me that he put on a new (thermocouple). Mind you there was nothing in his hand when he left neither and my hot water heater still doesn't work. He proceeded to tell me before he left that if they come back out, my warranty company would pay for a new one. Clearly the company is running some type of scheme to get more money from American Home Shield and their customers.BEWARE CONSUMERS!!Don't use them because they are unethical.

This is not at all what happened. ***** went to your home and found your water heater not working. while you watched ***** pull the burner out of the water heater and cleaned it. The burner was full of debris. He reinstalled it. The water heater lit, and you were happy. You called the office and told ***** he did nothing, and your water heater is still not working. She offered to send him back out and you hung up on her. Please never accuse us of running a scam. Please don't accuse the company of something that we did not do.

Actually they deserve any Star they just good in Excuses Very bad Connection they late the time they give you And the main reason they Send plumber to my house Check the issue and say Some thing then leave and I ask them to Send him back and Sure I pay again to Come back then a few days later another one else Came not the exact person and he give different opinion and when I tell him you coworker say that he say let me see and Call the Company then start find excuses in the end I dont fix my issues I think they didnt have honesty ??

Good morning sir. I am sorry for any kind of misunderstanding that there maybe. The pressure reducing valve in your home is bad and needs to be replaced. When you have high water pressure it causing things like water heaters, faucets, toilets, shower valves, and other things to go bad. Unfortunately the home warranty will not cover these items because they consider it secondary damage. We were the second company out to your home with the same result. I'd give zero stars if I could! The home warranty sent you out for our water heater. American Plumbing lit the pilot light and said it was working. It didn't work. Called you back and rescheduled, supposedly you came to the house knocked once and didn't try to stay. The house is ***** sq. feet and you didn't try to wait for us to come to the door! Now you're telling the home warranty that the water heater was improperly installed? Really?!? It would NOT have worked for 18 months straight if it was improperly installed!

We Came out and relit the water heater and told the man who was there the water heater was installed wrong and not to code and if it went out again the warranty would not cover it. We came back out called 10 minutes before we arrived and left a message we were on are way we arrived and knocked on door several time we also called again. Then we called the dispatcher ***** and had her call. everything you are stating is false. The water has no dirt leg which will cause the gas control valve to go out.

We had slow drains in the home and a shower that would not regulate temperature properly. First they told us that the shower would be a separate issue we would need to enter a separate claim for with the home warranty. I thought that was weird as the home warranty would have told me that if that was necessary. They cleared out the drain in the laundry room, but I noticed that the drain in the kitchen remained slow. So I reopened the same claim as I had already paid the deductible for this. They came back out and said they would need to go in through the roof and would be back the next day with a ladder. Then my home warranty called me and said my claim was not covered because the blockage was not within my home. I requested a review as this was clearly a lie. The person reviewing said American Plumbing Solutions was clearly lying to them and they would approve the service as it was covered. I then received a call from American Plumbing Solutions making an appointment to come clear the drain. It was set for later in the day as I worked late the night before and when I woke up, I saw I had a missed call and called it back. It was them and the guy said he would call me back and hung up. He never called me back and he did not show up. Half an hour after my appointment window I called them again and they said they would be by the next day. They did not show up again. I was reassigned to another plumbing company that said the home warranty was allowing both the drain and shower under the same claim. So they fixed both, without accessing the roof, in a timely matter, and without lying to me or the home warranty. After reading the other reviews, it is very clear that this is a trend of American Plumbing Solutions LLC.
