As a parent with full custody of my daughter, I sought a safe and inclusive daycare facility to ensure her well-being while I was temporarily residing in another state. Unfortunately, my encounter with Mrs. ****, was marked by discriminatory treatment and unprofessional conduct. During our conversation, Mrs. ****** demonstrated a complete lack of respect and empathy. Her demeanor was rude and dismissive, and she used derogatory language throughout our interaction. I attempted to address important matters concerning my daughter's dietary needs and the submission of required documentation, but Mrs. ****** consistently refused to listen or provide any assistance. Instead, she insisted on my physical presence at the facility to prove my identity as the mother, despite the significant distance and my explanation that my daughter was visiting her father for the summer. When I offered alternative forms of identification, court documentation, and my daughter's birth certificate, Mrs. ****** displayed a clear unwillingness to cooperate. Shockingly, she even made derogatory remarks targeting my racial background, leaving me deeply hurt and concerned about the welfare of my child under their care. As an advocate for fair and ethical business practices, I believe it is essential to bring attention to such unacceptable behavior and treatment. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, particularly one responsible for caring for children. The actions and attitude displayed by Mrs. ****, reflect a lack of professionalism and a disregard for equal treatment and respect. I implore the Better Business Bureau to investigate the practices and policies of the Daycare to ensure compliance with fair business standards and the provision of a safe and inclusive environment for all children. It is my hope that this review will serve as a warning to other parents and encourage this center to address and rectify the issues that led to this troubling experience.
