I needed my windshield replaced, and ***** recommended this company. I took my truck (2023 ***** Ridgeline). there and everything appeared to be fine. A few week of being in GA, and I noticed the right side of the Rearview mirror housing was hanging from the glass. I got my oil changed at *****, and they too made mention of the housing coming off on the right side.We had a bad storm on Tuesday the 16th. When I got in my truck Wed morning, I noticed H20 on my dashboard, then looking around I saw water in the center console, and the reverse button on the console was filled with H20. If you zoom in on the picture you can see the water inside the button. This ruined everything I had in the center console. There is a picture where I was driving to work and stopped for traffic, and you could physically see the H20 running down the windshield from the rearview mirror. When I called he asked ME to find someplace that would seal the window, after he tried to convince me it was the sunroof, mind you NO H20 was visible on the cloth of the headboard. When I informed him that there was no place that was willing to just seal someone else's work he acted as if I was crazy. I filed an insurance claim and took it to satellite to diagnose and fix. They brought up that the rear view mirror housing wasn't on correctly or even in the right spot. It was also said it looks like they just rushed to get it in. B/c I had to pay 500 deductible to get his work fixed, I would like a refund of my deductible.

Customer was told that we would be happy to make appointment to test area, to determine problem area.   Customer stated that was inconvenient for them, to which I offered to try and find another company to test it.    Originally they were agreeable with that, then they called back to say nevermind, they were good, and would handle it themselves.    Then I get this complaint.     I hate that this customer is having a problem, and would love opportunity to check it out for them, and determine the issue.

This business only offered to help me find a place, after I told him he needed to find a place b/c none of the REPUTABLE glass replacement business would touch someone else work and assume responsibility for someone else's negligence.  This owner legitimately told me I needed to find a small mom and pop type window replacement place.  That is when I told him to find a place.  He did not respond to why my rear view mirror was not attached to the window correctly or even in the right spot.  The right side of the mirror was hanging down.  His response was, "well that doesn't have anything to do with a leak". I showed picture of it running down my windshield while I was stopped in line.  I watched the water come out of the rear view mirror housing.  He tried to blame the leak on everything but his work, the sunroof, etc.  I told him not to worry about it, b/c

    A) I didn't want a "quick fix", I wanted the job done right!

    B) It was inconvenient for me to return to him b/c I now live 6 hrs from his location.

Awful customer service, and negligence!  Great way to treat veterans.

Customer complains about supposed poor customer service, yet also states they arent willing to bring vehicle in to be inspected and fixed.      If customer isnt  willing to bring vehicle in to be examined and checked over, not even ONE time,  then  they are they ones responsible for creating this situation.   It is completely unreasonable to complain about issue, without giving shop opportunity to look at it.    Obviously problem is with customer, not with shop.
