I ordered a digital subscription several years ago. I tried to cancel last year, but the business charged my checking accounting even though I had cancelled. I could not get a refund. They assured me my sub was cancelled, but my checking account was charged AGAIN, FRAUDULENTLY, this year. I keep talking to their billing service outside of the US, but they conveniently NEVER have a record of my phone calls. I WANT MY $78.96 BACK FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DO NOT WANT. And my recommendation to everyone is to NOT take a subscription from this company and to NEVER give them your bank information.

I moved from *** ****** *** **** *** ****** **** on March 14, 2022 to my current address at which time I tried to change my delivery address. Clarion Ledger advised they could deliver to me. Never received paper. Called again. They continued to bill and send to old address. Finally in May I called and said cancel the paper. they continue to bill me $93.99 and no paper anywhere. I have asked for a credit and they say they have to review and get back with me. They say when I called in May it was to change deliver address for the first time. I believe they are fraudulent and would like a refund for at least the $93.99 that I was billed today. Thank you!

I am sending this in to get the $93.99  Refunded.  It will take up to 10 Business days to be completed.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The Clarion Ledger advised they were giving me a credit of 93.99 which was the amount of the erroneous charge where I have been trying to cancel their service since May.  They only credited me about $56.00 I would like the remaining credit.

    Regards,

Last August I started to received continuous papers delivered and thrown into my driveway. I called to have it stopped because I never subscribed to the services. They ensured me it would stop, however, it started right back. I have called the Clarion Ledger 8 times and 1 cease email since and they are still delivering the papers. It inconveniences my day to go get the papers especially after my surgery, it’s tacky and my neighbors complain. It’s actually a form of harassment and the BBB is my last action before I retain an attorney. This has caused me distressed and frustration especially when I have to constantly call and ask them to stop and they refuse. I have not subscribed to receive papers, I don’t want them even if it’s free. I’m keeping all papers for proof of harassment. Again, if this harassment doesn’t stop, I will retain legal representation. I don’t read the paper and it’s a waste of someone time/ money.

We have been subscribers to the Clarion Ledger 30 plus years. Recently, we are not receiving our newspaper, mainly on weekends, but week days too. We have called them repeatedly, ex. yesterday. I was told a paper would be delivered Sunday afternoon. That was not true, never had a paper delivered. They lie, say our bill will be credited. Never is. Thank you

I have credit the customer account for 33.68 and ask the DSM to check customer address
