If I could give less than negative zero stars, I would. One Way Paving is a scam. My elderly parents was approached by this guy and was also told that he had extra materials leftover from a job and would do their driveway for $4 a foot. The company (son) never would give them a total of how much this would cost until the next morning after work had already started. The total that was given was $26K at a flat rate. My parents is on a fixed income and do not have access to this type of money. The owner went on to say that he’s losing money at this point by giving them such a big discount. My sister and I spoke with him and he said he would drop the price to $16K! We asked how could you drop the price this much? No answer…so we investigated this some more and he actually was doing work for the county and using the extra from the county roads to make a profit for himself. No money has exchanged hands as of yet. I recommend you DO NOT DO BUSINESS with One Way Paving…IT IS A SCAM!!!!!

I had a similar experience with One Way Paving. They came to my house and said they had excess material from another job and offered to do my driveway for $2.00 a foot. They did not mention it was per square foot until they had started. I had agreed to let them do about one third of my long rural driveway. After they started, they kept doing more of my driveway until they had done it all. Every question about what this was going to cost was brushed off. The next day after they finished, they presented me with a massive bill which they "generously" reduced by $1000 when they saw the look on my face. Make them give you an estimate up front. On the plus side, they did a beautiful job and had top notch equipment. Time will tell how it will hold up.

I had a bad experience with ***** and his Team (One Way Paving). He came to my home after I got off work and stated he had some excess material that he wanted to get rid of, he gave me a price of $3.40 per sq. ft., but never measured and priced out the job prior to starting as I asked and we agreed that I would get a price before any work started. After the job was completed, I got a bill for $13,339.00. I was stunned to say the least and angered with him and his antics. I felt like I was tricked and preyed upon because he intentionally would not price the job out prior to starting. I told him that when I buy a car, I know the price up front and this should not have been any different. He placed me in a bad situation in trying to come up with $13k for his failure to disclose the price. ***** acted as a predatory company, repeatedly came to my home asking for money, or a personal check. Please see some of his reviews and by all means stay away from him and his predatory tactics. He comes across as nice, but quickly changes when the money is due. He claimed he felt bad and dropped the price from $13,339k to $12k, the point is the same, I was not anticipating having to come up with a large amount of money such as this any time soon. He went on to tall me about his other clients and how he settles with them after completing the work, but these are businesses and may be prepared for such a bill. ***** is not a good business person to deal with and I advise everyone that knows and reads these reviews to stay away from him and his predatory tactics. There is a reason he is not an accredited BBB Client, he is not a good business person. The one thing I hate is that I did not take him to court and expose his predatory tactics.
