The legal transcription course was easy to follow with everything explained in great detail. Not only was it explained in great detail, but there was so much material provided to download and print to keep in a binder. I found that to be very helpful for when I started my practice files and needed to refer back to a certain section. The instructor was very knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this course.

I signed up for the course beginning of July 2023 with zero transcription experience. Going through the course, I learned SO much, including how to set up a template, what macros are and how to use them to our advantage as well as the punctuation to be used in legal transcription. It’s clear the instructor put in a lot of time and energy creating these lectures and is willing to add new things at student suggestions. I mentioned I’m more of a visual learner than an auditory learner and asked if we could have extra transcript samples and she thanked me for my helpful feedback and added them to the course! I graduated last week, and have been referred to a paid apprenticeship to begin my legal transcription career. The instructor has been very supportive and encouraging and said to reach out any time I need anything moving forward. Thank you for such a nice review! As you know, having gone through the entire course and graduated (yay!), this is intense training. You were an excellent student, and I have no doubt that you will have a fruitful career working remotely in your home for as long as you desire. I know you told me about your child's disability and how important it was to have the flexibility to take care of his needs with a work-from-home career. PLEASE, read all of this. Don't trust strangers on the internet. That being said, if you absolutely must, listen to the one who has nothing to gain or lose based on your decision (me). I enrolled in the course. Before enrolling, I spoke with ***** at length. Her "southern charm" got me hooked. Once she gets your money, it's a whole different situation. She is like a tyrant. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. She is rude. She is dishonest. She changes the rules daily to suit her agenda. It's a wild ride that I would NOT recommend to anyone. She also solicits reviews from students and recent graduates. They do this because they want to gain favor, or fear that they can't find work without her. One of them will be along shortly to comment on this very post. I could type about my experience for days, but you just have to trust me. We are surprised to learn that you feel your experience with Learn to Transcribe Academy's legal transcription program did not meet your expectations. However, we have a significant track record of positive outcomes. We would have appreciated the opportunity to have attempted to resolve any issues you had offline, but your public review here and on other sites is how we learned you were dissatisfied. Soliciting reviews is common and a part of modern business ownership, and there's nothing underhanded about it. Reviews can also appear without having been solicited at all. This is an excellent course. It is very informative. The instructor is excellent and responds very quickly. It really is a family atmosphere. When you finish this course you will be very qualified and have no trouble finding work. Did I mention they help with this also. I’m a SAHM of 14 years, zero experience with transcription or anything legal for that matter and I am currently 90% complete with my course and very excited to dive into Legal Transcription as a career. The value that is put into this course by ***** ****** is amazing. This is not your everyday self-paced course. She is there with you every step of the way to make sure you are getting it down. Not to mention the FB support group of fellow students, everyone learning from one another and supporting each other along this path to a new career. Weekly zooms and skill building are some of the extras you will find taking this course. As I move forward, I find that many other transcription schools may have a “job board” but none of them hook you up with a paid apprenticeship directly to the source. You can confidently know that once you have completed this course, you will be ready for the workforce. If I could compare the structure of this course to something, it’s like watching a movie with the commentary on and you get all the extra golden nuggets at the same time. The course is extremely helpful and informative , there is a lot of information in this course, and is easy to follow. ***** is the absolute best. She is highly entertaining and she explained very complicated concepts in a very clear way. The longest course couldn’t explain everything obviously, but she does the best of her ability to make sure we are ready and prepared to be a highly skilled transcriptionist and know the true art of transcribing. You obviously have to be willing to put the work in and not to get discouraged over constructive criticism .
