I agree to be a cosigner for a person but when they got my information the car dealership decided to put me as the number one the primary and I also didn't say that I was going to be a primary I never received no paperwork from them all of a sudden I receive paperwork from a finance company stating that they're going to put $70,000 on my my credit and that the bill is going to be a thousand and $80 a month for a 2020 Jeep Cherokee so I didn't agree to that I never received no paperwork to sign the paperwork that I received showing that they printed my name as a signature

This complaint to the BBB is the first we have heard of any dissatisfaction from the customer and privacy laws prevent us from fully responding in a public forum. The customer as well has asked in this complaint not to be contacted so we have added them to our "do not call" list per their request.

As a partial response, we can say that we likely did not discuss that the customer was the "primary" on this loan because positioning one name before another has no impact on a borrower's credit and/or responsibility for loan repayment. Whether first or second on the loan, both are always equally responsible for the loan repayment and receive the same positive/negative impact from the loan's payback history. At times, bank credit scoring systems do offer better rates and terms if one borrower is first or second and that is our reasoning for doing so, if there is any at all.

Rates and terms cannot be addressed in a public forum other than to say they are dictated by the bank/finance company based on their credit requirements and the buyer(s) credit worthiness. The amount mentioned by the customer is a repayment in total.

Finally, our records show - and our employees report - that all paperwork was signed by each customer (the bank keeps the original documents) and there are notes in the system that the lender completed a welcome call to the buyers before finalizing the loan.

We would certainly be happy to talk with the customer if they would like to contact us. We are prohibited from contacting them further by virtue of the request in the BBB complaint for no further contact.

    Thank you.

I purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro convertible from the Natchez Dodge Ram and Jeep dealership on January 17, 2023. About two weeks after the purchase, I started having issues with the vehicle, so I returned it before my 30-90 days which was in February 6, 2023. I was notified that I wouldn’t be able to trade the vehicle to avoid paperwork. The dealership I purchased from held my vehicle for two weeks and then transferred it to their sister dealership for fixing. They didn’t inform the sister dealership of any of the problems. They just dropped it off and it wasn’t until I called and came that they knew my car was there. It took another month or so before my car was given back to me. I was informed that the car had been fixed. New torque converter, new transmission, and the leaks in the roof were fixed. I picked my car up April 17, 2023. During the two weeks of my car being in the shop, I had no transportation. I asked for a loaner and a month later I finally got one. From February to April 15, I got the run around almost every day about my car. After getting it back, It hadn’t been 2 weeks and my cars began having problems again. I took it back to the sister dealership and was told that it was my transmission again, something they already fixed with new parts, or so I was told. I am now without a car again & the manager at the dealership I bought my car from doesn’t want to give me another loaner. At this point I am utterly disappointed and at wits end with the dealership and car.

It is unfortunate that the ******'s vehicle had issues so soon after purchase and we have worked on our end to assist them as much as we can. To address the issues mentioned specifically:

    - We did have a Chevrolet dealership perform the repairs and they were aware of the issues when the vehicle arrived on their lot. The timing of the start of the repair was delayed while they waited on the warranty company to approve the repair under warranty.

    - The Chevrolet dealership is facing the same parts shortage that every dealership nationwide is encountering. They secured the parts for the repair as quickly as possible, but understandably customer's have been frustrated by the delays in repairing vehicles while awaiting parts.

    - We were not aware of any issues after the repair, but we can check on that and try to assist the dealership in a warranty or defective parts claim if that will speed up the repair.

    - As far as a loaner, our dealership does not have loaner vehicle program, however once it was determined that the vehicle would take longer than expected to repair, we did provide a free loaner vehicle since the purchase was so recent.  As for the 2nd issue that has arisen, the Chevrolet dealership and/or the warranty should provide for a loaner in this case and we will check with them to see what is available and have them contact the customer.

    - Finally, we would be happy to assist the ******'s in trading in the vehicle or we can make an offer to purchase the vehicle outright is that is a better option for them. They are welcome to contact us and speak to **** or **** for assistance at 601-********.

We will do our best to help them resolve these issues and we do apologize for the inconveniences this has caused. All of our vehicles go through a comprehensive inspection when they arrive on our lot, but sometimes vehicles do have issues soon after purchase and we do our best to assist in those cases, as we did in this case with a loaner vehicle for the ******'s.

    Thank you.
