I have a 2015 Hyundai Azera. In Feb 2019 I took my car to homer skeleton for repairs. The major issue was not fixed after keeping it for 4 months. I took the car back in February 2020 with same issue. Five months later I got car back. *********** paid $3032 and I paid $178. The car still had a whining noise though. On November 7th 2021 I noticed an oil leak so I called because my warranty expired on November 11th. They told me they were extremely busy and bring it early Monday which was the 15th. I explained about warranty and was told don't worry it's close enough. Then they called Wed and said it would be $578. I picked the car up not fixed and I emailed the owner and service Mgr called in December said to bring it in they'd fix it. January it was still leaking so I went to valvoline to have it checked. 2 quarts low, dirty and it was leaking so I had it changed and took it back to homer. They called said it was fixed that valvoline had messed it up. I said no it was leaking when I went there. Finally March 8th they said bring it back. They fixed one oil leak but there was another one they didn't fix. Since then I've tried numerous times to get in touch with the owner by phone and email but no response. Also I talked to my warranty company and they never paid a $3032 claim and so homer said they ate charges because someone forgot to submit it. So i don't know what the $178 I paid was for because i didn't have a deductible. I have every receipt for repairs and regular maintenance on the car. So now I have a car with ******* miles with no warranty that leaks oil and has a whining engine. I haven't called **** the service manager because he is very rude and tried to charge me $178 when I took it there in November and didn't have it fixed. I said $178 for what. You didn't do anything. He threw the papers down and said bring her the car. The one time they tried to charge me $578 only charged warranty company $254. I was overcharged one other time shop charges and tax

According to our service department records and notes,

********************* 2015 Hyundai Azera had three separate oil leaks on three separate occasions, 2019, 2020, 2021.

Oil filter housing was leaking, and was repaired, oil pressure switch leaking, (1 year 4 months and ****** miles after

the last time we saw the vehicle), repaired.

The third leak was found at the cylinder head, (a completely different leak than the previous), corrective action recommended, a new motor.

We didn't sell ***************** her vehicle, nor did we have the opportunity to service her vehicle. Just these visits.

We eagerly wanted, and want to, help repair her vehicle, on each occasion, we inspected the vehicle and repaired the vehicle, while also supplying

her a loaner vehicle to drive.

I am rejecting this response because: As far as me buying the car that shouldn't matter nor should the servicing. I have all receipts for the services on my car. As for major problems I always took it back to Homer Skelton and it was never fixed correctly. In November when I took the car in it was leaking oil and under warranty. It was still leaking the next week. It went back in December and was still leaking in January so went back in. Says on my invoice one leak fixed one was not. Why was that? Valvoline told me in November that it was leaking from the rear cylinder head. Homer Skelton said they fixed oil leak from oil filter housing. Oil was also leaking from the rear cylinder head but was not fixed. So why not? So after multiple visits there with the same issues they are now recommended a new motor. They had to of known that on the first visit. Every since the first visit in 2019 as you can see on invoices I complained about the engine whining. I'm sure they knew that since 2019 that car wasn't right but was never fixed. If it needs a motor now I can assure you it needed it on my first visit there in 2019 but it wasn't fixed, it might of been patched ** in 2020 when you supposedly did $3000 work on it and was never turned in to warranty company after you kept it for 4 months. My response is if it needs a new motor then you should replace it because I told you for years the car wasn't right. I even spoke to the mechanic that worked on my car who is no longer there about that it should have been fixed correctly in 2019.

    Sincerely,

January *********     Vehicle was brought in for repairs.

                                                                             1. Customer states oil leaking, please check and advise.

Leak found at the oil filter housing, also an oil leak found located and identified leaking from rear cylinder head where it meets the block. Oil filter housing leak repaired.

The only fix for the rear cylinder head leak where it meets the engine block is to replace the engine.

Each oil leak found was separate. None were related. Our trained technicians look for any repaired or recommended. It's unfortunate this happened, however, there is no information

    pointing to dealer error.
