    This was too long, so had to be shortened. That should tell you enough. Initial Experience Two weeks ago, I signed up for a membership at Club4Fitness, specifically attracted by their heavily advertised "no contract, cancel anytime" policy. Cancellation Attempt When attempting to cancel my membership after two weeks, I encountered:- Unexpected "two-month minimum commitment" requirement - Immediate escalation to collections threats Legal ************** Regulations These practices potentially raise issues under consumer protection laws, including:- Bait-and-switch marketing tactics - Misrepresentation of terms - Questionable compliance with CAN-SPAM and Section ***** Prohibition Important Note: As of 2024, the ************************ (***) has implemented new "Click to Cancel" regulations requiring businesses to:- Provide cancellation methods as simple as the sign-up process - Allow cancellation through the same medium used to sign up (online, in person, etc.)- Process cancellations immediately without delay tactics - Provide clear confirmation of cancellation - Not require explanation or justification for cancellation - Not mandate speaking with staff to cancel - Send initial reminders for auto-renewal subscriptions Club4Fitness's current practices appear to violate these new FTC requirements, particularly regarding ease of cancellation and unnecessary barriers to termination.Recommendations for Prospective Members 2. Obtaining written documentation of cancellation policies *obviously have an lawyer review - lol, as we must do these days.3. Maintaining detailed records of all communications - record the local **** 4. Being aware of your rights under the new *** regulations 5. Documenting any violations of the "Click to Cancel" rule Message to Management Your current cancellation practices not only contradict your marketing promises but may also violate new *** regulations designed to protect consumers from exactly these types of practices.

    I have been trying to cancel my membership since I moved this summer. I was told to go thru a process of online registration for another website. That did not work so I called again, they told me I had to call back next week. Called again and same thing- call back next week. So I call today and there was no record of the last two calls. They said they would cancel it, but I still needed to pay another month. UNBELIEVABLE.

    Horrible experience, i was calling the local ********** office to add a new card to my account . i ended up canceling the membership because the local manager was extremely rude. He would not give me the home office number, would not give me their location. and was overall arrogant and combative. Worst customer experience I have ever had. I see why they have an F rating.BTW it took about 45 minutes on hold with third party to finally get canceled.

    The location in **********, ** is VERY unprofessional. The little boy with the long hair and nose ring is extremely unprofessional. ******* is a HORRIBLE manager and just allows his employees to do anything. My routine is to go in get out. I don't really speak to anyone, but that's not good enough for some employees. They think they can just congregate at the front desk and talk about people. They don't discipline their employees and they are free to say anything they want about you. They had the nerve to cancel my membership today because I had had enough of their talking. Unbelievable. Terrible management.

    Filing lawsuit with FL small case claims for loss of ******* of the amenities in the gym has been down for up to a month now with inaccurate ETAs for being fixed. Contacted management about cancelling my membership because I only use the gym for the amenity due to breaking my leg earlier this year. Was rudely told that I would have two pay for another month and half of membership and they wouldn't waive anything. Was also hung up on.

    If I could give a zero! I would. Club fitness and their personal training department are 2 different entities which, they dont tell you that when you sign up. I wanted to try personal training for 3 months but, was unaware I was signing up for 12 months with a trainer thats no longer there. Worse part I have an ankle injury on crutches sent them several notes from my Doctor. The personal training so called Manager stated I had to be disabled for the rest of my life to get out of this crazy contract. I am still not all the way healed but, they are taking money out of my account! If I could tell everyone to please be ware of their scamming ways I would!!! I have tried to call the corporate office but, its all up to the Manager here basically! And you get nowhere talking to him! No empathy no apology or anything. His attitude is oh well! Not my problem. I just want this nightmare to be over with!!!

    ******* at this establish is now under investigation .She has one of the worse attitudes . Me and my team will continue to collect evidence of her unprofessional racist behavior . I have numerous claims of discrimination at this location about her . Of course Its all hearsay until the proof is released. And that will be released soon. Waiting for the go ahead.

    This is the WORSE customer service at this gym. Ive been trying to cancel for months and then was instructed to put my account on hold. After having a terrible 6 months, I realized that my account is off hold and they were going to charge me the annual fee so I made a huge push to cancel. Since Im canceling 29 days before the ************************************************ AN ANNUAL FEE!! HOW do you charge someone an annual fee when they are canceling? Not to mention I had to beg for someone to tell me how to cancel. It just seems sketchy!! I will never walk inside this gym after this and I discouraged all my friends from joining. Canceling SHOULD not be this difficult and come on guys be fair with your payments. And all the *** said well you signed a contract but hey you also didnt say in that contract that canceling was such a headache!! Ive been to many gyms but this one takes the cake as being the worse customer service. And just because I was canceling didnt mean I wouldnt go back but after this NEVERRRRRRR!

    Will allow my son age 15 to purchase a membership, but not be a one time guest unless hes 18. Total BS rule to try to trap someone into more spending more money.

    We would make more money off of reoccurring guests than a membership.All guests must be 18 years of age or older. Guests 12 17 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian. The guest must check-in at the front desk, be at least 18, and sign a medical and injury release form.Before using the facility, the guest must also tour with a CLUB4 membership representative. Membership ID is required for entry into any CLUB4 facilities. Please scan your club membership card when you enter the facility. All guests are required to pay a $15.00 guest fee, complete the guest register, and comply with all guest policies. Guests are limited to 3 visits per year. Guests are only allowed during hours in which CLUB4 is staffed. If a member brings a guest during non-staffed hours, he/she will have a $50.00 charge deducted on the date of their next draft. Minors 14 and Above: May use the facilities without supervision or being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Minors under the age of ********************************************* guardian sign the financial guarantee and the membership agreement.
