Bought a rebuilt transmission from them 3 weeks ago and had a local mechanic installed it. He did everything right, flushed the lines and everything, only to have the transmission go out 2 weeks later, I had it towed to Coleman Taylor in ********* and they supposedly installed another transmission but I think they only fix what was they thought was the problem. Had to pay ***** for that, 3 days later, my check engine light is on, also my truck is barely moving, and it says transmission fluid is hot,

We certainly share your frustration, when a recently released vehicle comes back to our shop with a bad part, as has happened in this case. Unfortunately, a bad converter was to blame for the breakdown in this transmission. Our team quickly assessed the situation and presented two options for repair. First, since the vehicle did not come in originally, just the unit itself to be repaired, one option was to bring in just the unit, this will cost less since there was no R&R cost on this ticket, and only the unit itself was under warranty, this would have been no additional cost. The second option was to pay for the R&R and incur the additional cost, since the vehicle was towed in, thus that option was chosen, and additional cost was involved. We also added a 24 month/24,000-mile warranty to the job, ensuring that if something does go wrong down the road, the shop will take care of the covered parts. Coleman Taylor Transmissions has been in business for over 60 years, we stand behind our work, if something goes wrong within the warranty period,Coleman Taylor will make it right and get you back on the road as soon as possible.
