I ordered and purchased a modular home through Big Sky Homes/****** Homes in ********, *******, in November 2022. My home was built offsite and delivered to my address in the ******** area at the end of April 2023. The house and the general contractor were paid in full in April 2023, per their instructions. The house was placed onto its basement May 3, 2023.Then my house sat, abandoned and neglected, for the next 6 months.Big Sky Homes general manager ************************* failed to complete all of the finish work for the home, which included drywall, paint, carpet, window and door trim, vinyl siding, storm doors, and porch lights in those six months. The general contractor, (*************************, ******************** who was recommended by Big Sky Homes salesperson *********************************, (and was the only general contractor recommended by him) did a portion of his work, then completely abandoned the project. The basement floor had not been poured, the basement windows had not been installed, there was no heat, no water hookups, no hot water heater, no plumbing, no electricity, and no septic system connection. The driveway was not completed, the backfill had not been done, and no final grade was performed around the house. The basement experienced a massive flood of nearly 3 feet of water, and no attempts were made to secure the house and basement from the ******* weather, or infestation of insects, birds, ****************** filed a lawsuit with Yellowstone County District Court on Nov. 2, 2023. It is case # DV23-01183.My house was finally finished by a different GC, at the end of Jan. ****. I paid for many, many things twice as a result, and am still paying for certain things as of today. Purchasing a home here has been very financially destructive to me. I was forced to deplete my savings account, *** out a credit card, and make a premature withdrawal from my retirement plan to get my house to where it was habitable. DO NOT BUY YOUR HOME HERE. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

**** did in fact buy a home from Big Sky Homes. She hired out the General Contractor herself.  In the paperwork she signed there is a release of liability in regards to each customer doing their own due diligence on whether they want to use a certain contractor or not.  As the General Manager I don't personally complete any of the homes work . Our work throughout this project remained incomplete because of the General contractor, she ultimately hired, took off and vanished. ************************* from *******-********,formely ******************** has now changed his name and done this to a few people I now know of. From her review up above, she states no power and heat or water was hooked up.  I need these three to complete our part of the project. Heat and power is essential to complete drywall repairs and have them not crack out again.I understand the frustration with the contractor, as do many across MT, **,and ID.  But ********************** has finished all of the setup work we are responsible for. ************************* has offered to sit down with **** and her attorney and work out a settlement but **** denied the meeting. I believe she added Big Sky Homes onto the lawsuit, not because we are negligent , but because of money.
