Meridian Construction Company required a $5,000.00 deposit but has failed to provide building plans as provided in a signed Construction Design Agreement.We are requesting the delivery of the building plans or the return of our $5,000.00 deposit.See additional description attached.Business response

I will look into see why you have not received a set of the preliminary bid plans that was covered in your executed design agreement. I thought this had been taken care of already.

That is no problem. I have attached a copy of the digital plans. I will order a full set of paper plans next week from Kalispell Copy. Once they are completed, I will let you know they are ready to pick up.

very bad siding job , so many mistakes because they don't have any one that knows what they are doing , so the job is not done but they want their money, I won't pay the finale payment because of the bad work and they don't have any one smart enough to know what they are doing, they want to put a lien on my house , but the job is NOT done. he has been a bully and threating me. the siding is falling out not over lapped like it should be, big hole everywhere. just want my money back and them to leave me alone so I can get the job done right.Customer response

Every day I find more wrong with this siding job, he now threating to put a lien on my house if I don't pay him, But the job is not done and done right, my house looked better before they messed it up. there is one wall siding going the wrong way, my soffit is so messed up. he has been a real bully. because I am a woman and older. they don't have one person that knows what they are doing most don't even speak English, one side of the house is so different than the other, I had 6 different people working on the house again that is also why it is so messed up. not even sure they put insulation on all the walls, they tried billing me for things they didn't even do, I would be ashamed if I did a job this bad then say the job is done. It like they can just through it together and were done , no matter what it looks like, there is siding flapping in the wind, again not overlapped at all, things are so crocked things cut to short , siding warped , I pay a lot for insurance and had hail damage and be so disappointed in what the house looked like when they said it was done. They have had drunks working on the house, But not one person has any training with vinyl siding. so they just slapped it together and hoped I would not see the mess they made. so very unhappy, I keep getting phone calls and emails treating me with legal stuff. I just want the money that has been put as done payment back and be able to take the other check and hire a real siding *** I should not have to pay when the job was never done right in the first place. I think there insurance Co should pay so I can get it done right before winter hits, because if it is not done right a lot is going to blow off this winter. and really be a mess.Business response

Meridian contracted with the client to install vinyl siding, and installed the same per manufacturers instructions and industry standard. Meridian has attempted to meet the clients needs, and has completed walk throughs with the client to address any issues with the work. After learning of complaints, Meridian offered to do another walk through to address any further complaints, but was refused. The client has not responded to our many attempts to conduct another walk through. Meridian is still willing to complete this walk through. Many of the clients submitted photographs depict issues with soffit and fascia, which were not part of the scope of Meridians contract or work. The work has reached substantial completion, and the client refuses to pay.Customer response

there is so much damaged done by them and all he want to do in Threaten me with a lien , The job is not done and done right my house is a mess, so until they get a real Construction *** to do the work right they are not getting paid the balance. He has did nothing but Threaten and Bully me because he doesn't have any body that know what they are doing . and being a senior citizen.he does a lot of threating .
