In 8/9/2021 I went to an allergist for a patch test. I just received a bill stating that I owe $133.12 a year and a half after the appointment. I was told that I needed to get shots of venom 3 times per week for 5 years. In my shock I agreed. After getting home, I called them and told them that I was not going to do that. They then told me the venom had already been ordered and that I would have to pay for that regardless of not getting the treatments. They billed my insurance $1,120.00 of which my insurance company made them lower the bill by $454.40 and my insurance paid $532.48 leaving the balance of $133.12. I called and told them it's crazy to get a bill a year and a half later. I also noted that I had to pay for the venom in full, for something I never used. They most likely resold it to someone else, doubling their money. I think this should be wrote off completely.Thank you in advance for your consideration.******

    Regarding: Complaint ID ********

    Dear Resolutions Specialist:

I reviewed the complaint from customer ***********************. She stated that she went to the allergist for patch test on 8/9/2021. I have never seen this patient at the Allergy and Asthma Center of Montana. I checked by name and telephone number. This person does not exist in our electronic medical record. Furthermore, this office has not done patch testing in several years. This complaint is filed for the wrong office. Please confirm with *********************** the correct office for the complaint.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************, MD
