On July 7, 2021, I entered into a contract with Premier Roofing, LLC for a roof replacement on a rental property. The owner wanted a down payment and the final payment after the roof replacement was completed. All payments were made. The property was vacant. Renovations were being completed on the rental property when it was discovered around June 26 that the boards supported the roof by the porch was rotten and the new roof in that area was sinking. I called and emailed the owner of Premier Roofing, LLC on June 27 to let him know. I called and left voicemails to his personal and business number. When we talked, he was not responsible for repairs. I sent pictures and explained to him that the boards were rotten during the replacement, and no one contacted me at of this discovery and they continued to replace the roof. I informed him that it was his responsibility for this poor workmanship. He had excuse after excuse for not wanting to see the property for me to show him the issues. I wanted him to see the damage and explain to me why he is not responsible. After several texts and calls, He finally agreed to come and look at the roof. It took almost a month. On July 25, the day we agreed to meet he did not come another excuse. Instead, he sent one of his workers to look at the roof. There was ppl there because of the renovations were still going on. The worker stated that I should have called me about the rotten boards before they completed the replacement of the roof. That is normal procedure. I told him I did not get a call. The worker informed me that he will report back to the owner with the pictures that were taken. I should here form him by the end of the day. I called him and got no response from owner. Now the roof is leaking on the backside of the house and the new painted ceiling is stained. Other weak spots on the roof were located. I called and texted the owner after this discovery, and I have not received a response to my calls or texts.
