    We contacted *********************** with Expert Care Appliance Repair on May 25, 2024 to repair our washing machine. ******* agreed to come out on the same day which was nice although he arrived over 4 hours later than he stated. He assessed the problem and recommended a new drain motor and pump housing. He asked to be be paid upfront $325.78 for the parts and labor for the job and would return on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. We paid him $325.78 via Venmo and expected him to return on Tuesday as promised. ******* did not show up on Tuesday and did not communicate that he would not be coming. After several texts, ******* said he would come on the afternoon of Thursday, May 30, 2024. On May 30, 2024, he texted that he was running late and would come after his last job. He never showed up and now he has stopped responding to multiple phone calls and texts. We have had to get another person to come to repair the washing machine and now incur a double expense due to *******'s and Expert Care Appliance Repair's actions.

    We hired ******* of Expert Care Appliance Repair to install a new dishwasher in January 2023. As part of this process, he also agreed to haul off our old dishwasher as well. After we paid him $180 ($150 for dishwasher installation and $30 for hauling away our old dishwasher) via Venmo at his request, he told us his truck was currently in the shop and he had gotten a ride from his mother to get to and from our house, but that he would be back the next day with his truck to haul off our old dishwasher. Unfortunately, this never happened. We tried to contact him multiple times to check on when he could complete the entire job we paid for which included haul away service, but he never responded. We requested a refund of $30 over Venmo for the haul away service that was never completed, which he declined. We would prefer he just come back and haul off our dishwasher as we already paid him to do, but if not that then he could at least provide us a with a refund for the incomplete service.Of note, we researched him on the web and ******** and found that he has done this same exact scheme to many other customers (even the story about his truck being in the shop and his mom dropping him off).
