  We discovered a litany of problems with our new construction home after we moved into it. Many of these problems involved simple shoddy workmanship and frankly, incompetence, that one would not expect to find in high quality residential construction as Amarx advertised the development they were constructing to be. It appeared as though there were little or no quality control. Although the property somehow passed inspection and we had a 10 minute walk through prior to closing that felt rushed, we were unable to glean the degree of problems until the day we moved in and could carefully look at the interior and exterior at a more reasonable pace. Our frustration was compounded by the cavalier and incompetent manner in which Amarx treated our complaints. Amarx would offer lip-service and reassurances that the problems would be corrected, and then neglected to follow through with those promises. As a result, we spent countless hours and days waiting for ******* from Amarx who did not appear to do corrections. Often they never appeared at all, or when they did, they again performed the work improperly. Over several months, Amarx did correct some of the problems. We were so relieved, we wrote an email thanking their construction supervisors in advance after they agreed to meet with us and hear our concerns. However, many of the problems were never ultimately addressed by Amarx even after complaints and repeated contact with the construction supervisors. Eventually, we had to have many of the issues fixed ourselves at substantial out of pocket expense and inconvenience. Most recently, we had to move out and stay in a hotel for 7 days for corrective plastering and painting for which we paid out of pocket. We requested compensation, which did not include monetary compensation for our lost time and major inconvenience. Weve spent ****** . Amarx denied us our request. We feel compelled at this point to report Amarxs short comings and are more than disappointed

  The clients did a walk through, made a punch list, and closed on the house on 2/28/20.  The items on this list were completed. For their own reasons, the clients decided not to move into the house until May 7, 2021, more than a year later. Even though well beyond their warranty expiration, Amarx responded to their requests for a meeting and accepted and completed a second punch/warranty list.  The clients were upset about a certain paint not being used on their home, even though this was never discussed,or have we used this certain paint as a standard in the homes.  Amarx and the clients came to a resolution that Amarx would supply this upgraded paint to them at no cost to them, and they could have someone repaint the home if they would like.  They accepted this solution, now here we are.
