            I visited Asheville Chevrolet on 11/21/2023 to have my windshield wiper frame repaired. The work was quoted to take an hour, and it ended up taking 4.5 hours. I paid the business a total of $235.39 for the parts and labor.I went to ****** yesterday, 11/26/2023, to have my tires rotated and balanced. I was informed that my lug nuts were very, very loose, and I was lucky that the tire did not fly off while I was driving. The only place that I have taken my vehicle to in the last week was Asheville Chevrolet, so I decided to give the dealership a call and give them a chance to rectify the situation.I called and asked for ****, my service advisor, who I was informed is no longer working at the dealership. I spoke with ***** and ****, who both told me that there was no way my tires were "fooled with," and **** suggested that perhaps someone was trying to steal my tire. I seriously doubt that. After looking at past reviews, I saw that another customer had a similar issue where their lug nuts were not tightened. **** told me that that was a separate issue, but with two customers having a similar issue only a month apart, I don't believe that and wholeheartedly disagree. Lastly, the ** multi-point inspection was given green marks all the way down, and this is an area of concern to me because the tire was not identified at this point as it should have been.The business has taken zero responsibility and in fact, suggested that perhaps it was something else altogether. They were not concerned that perhaps it was their fault, and my life was in danger because my lug nuts were so loose. I am very disappointed in the quality and lack of professionalism of this business.My preferred and desired resolution options are as follows: a refund; replacement of my tire alloy wheel so that I can have my tire fixed; payment for a tire alloy wheel. Any of these three options are fine with me because my first and foremost concern is now repairing my tire and ensuring that I am safe.

            *************** was quoted an estimated repair time and even though the complexity of the job  required more labor time than she was quoted the customer was only charged what she was originally quoted.  She only requested the windshield wiper job and took it womewhere else(******) to rotate the tires.  She did not request nor did we do any physical inspection or any other work to the tires.  She received a VISUAL inspection multi-point inspection.  *************** even uploaded  the work order from ******* This work order noted the following:

            1." Escessive rust, corrosion and debris on the hub and wheel mating surface areas of your vehicle.... this conditioncan can cause a wheel to become loose during normal operation"

            2. "While servicing your vehicle it was noted that your two piece lug nuts were swollen.  This condition is due to the two piece construction and it is a known issue in the tire industry."

            Neither the rust, corrosion or debris would be the responsibility of Asheville Chevrolet and the two piece issue of the lug nut is certainly not the responsibility of Asheville Chevrolet.

            Had *************** requested a tire rotation from us we most likely would have found the same issue as ****** did upon the request for tire rotation from them.

            The work order uploaded from ****** is proof that Asheville Chevrolet bears no responibilty for the problem with her tire and is reason to deny any refund or monetary reimbursement.

            We will file this same response to the ****** review that *************** filed alleging that we had done something wrong.

            I am rejecting this response because:

            this doesn't change my view. I feel that Asheville Chevrolet should have caught the issue with the "visual" inspection that was done, especially after having my vehicle for 4x the amount of time that was quoted to me, which was an hour. I truly believe that my tires were tampered with as I did not go anywhere aside from the dealership. I don't agree with this response, and will not recommend anyone to ever go to this business, and I will ensure that my ****** review reflects that. My life was in danger driving from Asheville to SC, but luckily a technician from ****** was able to catch something that Asheville Chevrolet could not.

            Bought a Chevrolet ******** in April of this year. Mid May a check engine light came on saying the emissions system failed. Immediately scheduled a service appointment. After the appointment they informed me the parts were backordered and I shouldnt drive my truck until it was fixed. Dealership told me there was nothing they could do. No loaner vehicles are available. I asked for my money back since I had just bought a month before. The general manager said he could buy it as a used car. As of today, June 26, the parts are still backordered. ************** told me the parts were in transit to the dealership this week and were scheduled to be there friday. Friday I called the service manager at the dealership and he informed me that while it might say in transit, until he received a shipper number they were not in transit. My truck has now been inoperable longer than I owned it. Im a contractor so this has severely impacted my ability to earn a living.

            The part arrived on 6/27 and we are contacting the customer. The part should be put in shortly. 

            Any exchange will have to be done with the manufacturer and the customer has been given the contact information for that conversation.
