  On 12/26/2023 I took my car to *****'s Mobile Auto Repair Services for the alternator to be replaced. I purchased the alternator my and had them service my vehicle. Once the alternator was put into my car I was told that I had a bad battery, and was charged additionally for a new battery and the labor to install it. As my car was given back to me, I was told everything was fine and I needed was the computer reset on my car. My car did not even last 30 minutes before stopping on the side of the road. I called *****'s Mobile Auto Repair Services, and was told my issue was a result of the computer needing to be reset. I later took my car to ********** to reset the computer where I was informed that not only was the wrong alternator installed, but the battery that was originally in the car was still good. Not only did he not release it was the wrong alternator before installation, he had us pay for a battery that did not need to be replaced. When addressed about the issue we were told there was nothing they could say at that point. I feel disrespected and cheated by the whole situation. We were sent away in full confidence that all we needed was the computer on the car and that was not the case.

  On Dec 26 did bring his car to me to have the Alternator installed, we had talked over the phone prior to him bringing his car to me about the process and the cost of the labor, which was ($266.00), which he agreed to: Once his car arrived to me, He and his girl friend began to tell me what issues they were having with the car, and that it had gone to somewhere else to have the battery installed, But they said the proper procedures was not followed to installed the battery in the ** Passat. The battery was dead upon arrival. So I proceeded to explain to them the process for replacing the customer purchased Alternator, and I explain them that because of the type of car that there would be additional labor, Which was ($142.50), which they both agreed to at that time. I gave them my personal loaner car to use while the installation was being done.  The Alternator they purchased was the exact set up as the old one on the car, all fitted very well  and were installed properly. ,  So I called the customer and explain to them that the will need to replace the battery as well, the customer agreed for me to replace the battery (Cost of Battery was $227.92) Which was $3.85 above what I paid for it($224.07) See attached Invoice for the battery. As far as the battery is concerned, I was more than willing to only reimburse them that cost if they brought me the battery back (Via text message on 01/12)  There was no labor cost charged on replacing the battery.
