I have been using Byte aligners for the past 10 months or so. The treatment did not work, and the company agreed to an additional set of aligners. However, everything has been suspended due to issues, and they now have a class-action lawsuit against them (I am not part of that). They approved a refund on Dec 3rd, and I am still waiting. They initially said 30 days, and now they are quoting me six to eight weeks. I paid through a 3rd party service (splitit) and I am fine with them receiving the refund, even though my balance is small.

Byte is demanding that we seek a consultation with a dentist after we have been in treatment for over a year. They will not make anymore aligners for customers and I have demanded to speak with management and no response. I also am demanding a refund. This was against the original contract that was signed with the company. They are not offering to reimburse for the mandatory dentist visit either.

Byte promised to straighten my teeth in only a few months. I am currently been with them for 2 years and 6 months. My teeth have quit moving for awhile now and they haven't tried to fix anything they keep stating I should go back to other aligners. I have done this numerous times. I got my retainer a couple months back for my top teeth and they are moving back.

Their company Byte sold me invisible braces with a lifetime guarantee and their whole concept is that you can get braces without having to go to the dentist, now they are required you to see a dentist in person before sending you braces, I have had 2 different sets of refinements and my teeth still do not look like their 3d model said my teeth would look like after the initial set of braces which means I will need yet another set of refinements if they will make me see a dentist in order to proceed

I have been a Byte teeth alignment customer for the past three months. Per my agreement with Byte (owned by Dentsply Sirona), I was to receive 17 sets of teeth aligners, each to be worn weekly throughout my treatment. I paid in full the $2,199 cost on Aug. 14, 2024. Byte sent me the first 15 aligners, which I've been using per the instructions, with the understanding that the final two would be shipped to me before I needed them. As I approached that time, I received a notice from Byte indicating the company is resolving a serious issue with the *** and demanding that I sign a statement before Byte would continue working with me. I declined to sign the statement but instead asked for clarification about the status of my remaining aligners -- would they be shipped or would I receive a refund for those if Byte is discontinuing service, which would be a breach of our contract. I have tried unsuccessfully about a dozen times to communicate with Byte - via email, phone and chat (bot) - with zero success. I have been otherwise happy with my treatment, but would like this last step resolved, either with delivery of the product or a refund. I am not seeking a full refund, but rather an adjusted refund for the two missing aligners. Or, send me the product.

-impression kit purchased 1/23/2023 -aligners purchased 7/27/2023 -refinements ordered 4/3/2024 -over correction aligners ordered 10/24/2024 (still have not received)I started with byte due to cost, ease of being provided my own dentist through the program, and not needing to involve my personal dentist with the treatment plan. Ive been unsatisfied with customer service through the entire process (multiple initial agents contacting me and providing different information shouldve been a red flag in itself), have already required refinements, and despite full compliance am still nowhere near the end of my treatment based on how my teeth are positioned. And now, most recently retainers are being pushed on me without any representative following up as they said they would. After disputing being ready for retainers, I was most recently told I will be receiving overadjustment aligners (a month ago yet still no shipment) and no further impressions are needed, but I now realize this is just buying time and prolonging my treatment even MORE-pretty sure theyre hoops patients need to jump through just to hope they fail with their treatment plan and therefore the byte guarantee can be voided.Regardless, as I have been assigned a dentist through byte and have been fully compliant, I will not be involving my own private dentist, whether payment provided by byte, my insurance, or out of pocket myself-any outside dentist would be crazy to consider getting involved with this very clear liability and I refuse to put my dentist in that position. In addition, I have zero intention of signing any new acknowledgments that are sent out by byte. They were not in place when I initially agreed to and paid for my treatment with byte, and are therefore irrelevant to my previously agreed upon plan.I expect whatever measures necessary on bytes end be enacted to escalate my case to management/the review board and provide a full refund for both my impression kit and my treatment plan.

Approximately 9-13-2024, I called Byte Aligners consumer services. Byte was my last solution before implants. Therefore, I asked many questions. I have already gone through the trauma of having teeth extracted because of an error reading the x-ray. Then, pieces of a tooth left behind put me in unbelievable pain for months. My teeth shifted horribly. The representative was the first ****** to give me hope after they received my impressions. I was extremely excited. She insisted that I finance the cost once I heard the price. At first, I said no. However, the representative said that I needed it with a protection plan and whitening kit for my new smile. I will say that I do not smile around people because I hate my teeth. I paid about $ ******* to Byte that day. I am still paying that money off. Once I started the aligners (which Byte only sent some) they stopped production. I do not have insurance. I cannot find a dentist that will fix the mistake of another dentist. I would have to travel and pay a lot of money to see someone out of town. Honestly, at this point it seems as if I cannot trust anyone. I would appreciate it if Byte would return the money back (all of it) and we part ways forever. Personally, I expected so much more from this company and I am disappointed. Byte told me that they had their own dentist and I did not have to go into an office. The representative went into great detail about it. I feel like the whole thing was a scam for money. Hopefully, Byte will do the right thing in this situation.
