I built my house with **** and his team at GCB in 2016. I spoke to multiple builders before I decided to go with GCB and the reason I went with GCB was that they have a very collaborative and personal approach to the process. The building process went great. The attention to detail and the quality of the craftsmanship was apparent throughout the build. **** and his team were there every step of the way and made the whole process very smooth. Fast forward to late *********************************************** the master bath had started warping. We thought we must have spilled water on them somehow and monitored them. When the warping got worse, I reached out to **** and he personally came over to inspect. He came to the determination that the issue was more severe and brought in his team to investigate. They were able to figure out exactly where the leak was and went through the process of fixing everything. The leak was caused by a random nail that had pierced the membrane covering the shower curb. It was a significant amount of work just to get to where the leak was, fix it and then put everything back. Then they replaced all the warped hardwoods, refinished the floor and blended it perfectly with the surrounding floor. **** and his team did all this even though the warranty for this type of problem had expired 2 years ago. If I had to pay out of pocket for this, it would have cost thousands of dollars.I remember when I first met with **** about building the house in 2016, he stated that they would stand by their work and that he would be there for us if anything came up. True to his word, he was there for us 3 years later. This is a builder that stands by their work, 100%. They will put themselves in your shoes and treat you how they would want to be treated. I was thrilled with GCB when the house was first completed. Now I cannot imagine building a house with another builder.
