We were originally quoted for 3 movers but only 2 had showed up. They immediately tell us to take our entire bedroom set apart because they did not have any tools to do so. Our movers came in with our brand new, 2000 dollar king *********** uncovered and covered in dirt from the truck. I was upset and said why arent the mattresses covered I was told they would be covered the movers laughed and said well you have to pay for that I explained that I was told on the phone it was covered. they carry in all our bedroom furniture and put everything where we asked. We also had a gun safe, that was included in our quote and the movers made strange remarks on us wanting it upstairs in our bedroom closet, saying theyve never had a gun safe stored upstairs, that it usually goes in the garage, also saying that the weight of it was listed inaccurately and if the true weight was listed we would have had to pay way more, (even though we weighed everything to be precise) extremely unprofessional behavior. We also had a tool chest that was put in the truck sideways, causing all of the drawers to be jammed. But the guys could not carry the tool chest off the truck and I had to help them which I was okay with. They were in a complete rush. When it came time to actually pay and sign, the one guy was telling my girlfriend and I how much of a deal we got, how we shouldve had to pay them much more for what they did, how our furniture weight wasnt accurate, etc. I was left with furniture that wasnt put back together, drawers not properly installed, ripped brand new box springs, our brand new mattresses were completely disgusting. I call to speak with a manager, **** claims for my damaged items and the best they can do is send back $100 and ***************************** to clean our mattresses.Review from Ilona N

The company damaged much of our antique furniture. We had well packed boxes that had broken dishes broke a neon sign because it wasnt packed properly by them. Most of the hanging clothes boxes have been turned upside down because only one of several had clothes actually left hanging in the box. Extremely careless handling of our goods created lots of damage. I called to file a claim no one is returning my call. I have moved five times in my life and this is the worst company I have ever done business with.Fox Moving And Storage Response

We signed all documents neccesary. One mover questioned the Green **** even though we noted the item ahead of the move and they never questioned about it. Movers got approval from his manager to still move this item along with our other property on that day and encouraged this basic plan. The mover even accepted cash from my husband if he didnt break it, so didnt have to go through further insurance. There is not a notice on their website or any documents we received prior to providing the move deposit, or else we would not have even chosen this company. Then after breaking our item they emailed a one page waiver of liability which was not clearly communicated to us prior to, during, or after the move, nor were we given a hard copy of that page that appears to be edited after a signature was added. The Green *** was damaged upon a mover unloading it in the driveway at the final destination. One mover tried to take the item off the parked truck by himself, while the two other movers were not present outside to assist or spot him. In turn, this mishandling upon offloading led to our property damage and their movers face injury which to our knowledge also required an ER visit. We had to provide our own personal first aid kit, clothes, as they did not have any first aid in their truck. He was wearing crocs and the manager said the movers do what they want. The mover moved other items from their company moving truck and into our home and bled throughout the process. He said he couldnt leave because he had to finish this job and another job in ******* the next day. We expected at the very least the basic insurance plan to cover the mover safety/bio-hazard incident and damage to our property. We waited 3 months after the incident with no emailed resolution. All the manager said was he did everything he needed to do and justified how the move was completed. He offered us $0.60/lb for the damaged item which is not even $200 for an item that cost $5000+ to replace.Fox Moving And Storage Response

During initial estimating process and pricing the move ahead of time this customer wouldn't even allow us to come into their home to see the items and scope of work, they just had their assistant send us a long list of the items they wanted us to move for them. On that list it stated 2 grills, but upon arrival one of them was a big green egg smoker grill. They are extremely heavy, odd shaped, and extremely fragile and break very easily how they are constructed. We typically don't move them and/or need special equipment to move it in a safer way and to guarantee it doesn't break. This customer insisted we move it so we told them we would do our best if they agreed not to hold us at fault if it did break, so we had them sign a liability waiver on this piece, so not to hold us accountable if it breaks with our best efforts. Unfortunately it broke because of its shape and weight like we clearly said it could and they signed acknowledging just that. Then 2 months later call us and want us to replace the entire piece, and then threaten to spend all their time giving us bad reviews if we do not replace the entire piece at full value. Its the ONLY issue that happened on entire move and we could not have handled this more professionallyReview from Cheryl D

************ (*********, **) stole my things. I had boxes to donate to ************** and the rest to be shipped *** to myself in another state. They switched out the boxes and when I received the shipped boxes , that's when I realized what they had done. Some things I had sine I was 9 years old and was going to past down to my kids. The two movers, an uncle and nephew team, are theives. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!Review from Pri B

********** (****, ******, and Promise) was great!!! They did an amazing job with getting e erythromycin on the truck safely and into my storage with no problems. This is a HORRIBLE company. I was afraid of the lead mover and his General Manger. It was very stressful, I felt trapped because I had to vacate the house. Three movers (3 people) arrived. After I walked them through the house the lead man began to complain that the estimator who have come days did a poor job and because of that they didn't have sufficient packing materials. He commented that is how people's property gets broken; specifically, he mentioned my Tifanny lamp breaks easily. My furniture is mostly white or beige and is in like new quality. I watched as the lead man told his workers to place my white dining room chairs in the truck without any covering. They stood my Victorian styled leather couch (estimated value $3000.00) in the truck on its arm. When I started taking pictures the lead mover told me that either i sign a damage waiver or he will stop packing. He refused and began to argue that he knew his job. He called his General Manager, ****, who I heard tell him to threaten me to sign a waiver at that moment or they would leave with 3.4 of my things on their truck. The ** was rude and disrespect. After signing the wavier the mover wanted me to sign the inventory sheets before packing was completed. The mover in anger kicked some boxes and some cleaning produces over. His ** was on the phone and (I am sure) should have heard me call my sister to ask here to call the police. I had been frightened by the mover's behavior all afternoon. I blame his ** for exacerbating the situation and causing him employee to assault me in my home. I've moved many times during 22 in the military, but I've never had an experience like this. Before leaving the lead mover, a 20/30-year-old said to me a 69-year-old woman, "This is why I don't date Black women." I didn't know what to make of that. I sounded sick! I was glad to see the movers go. I hope my furniture is in a safe temperature-controlled facility.
