I wish I could leave 0 stars!!!After seeing in the news my wedding venue closed I tried to contact ***** L****** but the messages will not go through. Our wedding was planned for 10-5-25 at ***************. I have mailed invitations, hired vendors, ordered personalized decor with the wedding date on it and now after of thousands of dollars there will be no wedding. I never received a email, text or a call letting me know it was being foreclosed. Instead I had to find out on the news Tuesday night! Even knowing his venue was being foreclosed, I received a text from J**** at the end of November asking if I could pay anything on my balance by the end of the day, (and payment was not due) that he would give 20% off the remainder balance. He had to know about the foreclosure at this time and still was asking for money. He was gonna get more money out of us knowing that our wedding would never happen. Only a devil would do the things he has done to all the innocent people he took advantage of.Because of him I am losing out on ****** and now will be getting married at the court house! Thanks for steeling the joy from what would have been one of the happiest days of my life!I am taking legal action, and will one day get my money back! And hopefully J**** ******* will end up in jail where he belongs!

We were recently victims of a scam orchestrated by ***** ******* (The Veretta Group) involving the wedding venue ***************. To date, we have invested $23,000 in this venue and still had an outstanding balance of $20,000. Unfortunately, but Fortunately, Champagne Manor was foreclosed on, and ***** ******* (The Veretta Group) was exposed through media reports, preventing him from collecting further payments from couples.Despite our efforts to contact him via text, phone, and email, we have received no response. On January 1, 2025, he had the audacity to send a lengthy email providing an explanation for the foreclosure, offering apologies, and claiming he was working on a reimbursement planonly to subsequently disappear. This situation has been heartbreaking, not only for us and the plans we were so excited about but also for all the other couples who entrusted their weddings to this venue, many of whom now face immense disappointment. We are determined not to let ***** ******* (The Veretta Group) get away with defrauding us of $23,000. We will take all necessary steps, along with other affected couples, to hold him accountable for this egregious and heartless act.

***** ******* is a scam artist and a fraud. The news recently reported how he foreclosed on *************** and how ***** refuses to return peoples deposits. This company, Veretta Group, which manages rental properties throughout *********, has face multiple lawsuits including allegations of investment fraud dating back to 2022. ***** I hope you end up in prison where you belong!!!

Dealing with THIS GUY is the worst! He is a thief and a liar. **************** was originally supposed to happen in March 2020 and was postponed too many times to count. I feel sorry for all the people who spent thousands of dollars on "VIP lifetime tickets" which included a ticket for all future parties that would never happen. At the time, I felt sorry for ************ because COVID wasn't his fault and things weren't under his control. I waited it out and never asked for my money back for the cancelled parties. In the end 1 Gatsby party happened, but it paled in comparison to what was promised and never took place at the Biltmore. The biggest SCAM of all was the vacation rental passes that he sold when trying to recoup some money. It was borrowed money that he would never give back despite promising to refund me. I waited that out too, planning to redeem them when things settled down. Alas, it was all a scam and his website is gone. He never build the mansion across the lake where the passes were supposed to be be good for. It was more money lost and an insult to injury. So many dreams dashes and so many people involved that he hurt. I am disgusted with the ethics (or lack there of) of this company. He took advantage of people at the worst time in history and profited off them. He should be ashamed of himself and try to do better in the future. There is still time to right some wrongs.

    ****,

We regret that your experience with our Gatsby event was a bad one.  After 4 years of successfully executing this event, all 4 nights/events were wrecked in 2020 due to Covid- just 10 days before opening night- sending the events side of our business into a tailspin.  We've since rebounded and got back up to speed, revisiting our Gatsby event with a successful night in July 2021, another one in April of 2023, and several other Yule Ball parties that have been wonderful.   All that to say, you've been refunded per your request.  Thank you.

I think this guy is in way over his head. He has borrowed thousands of dollars from me and has not repaid me. He occasionally makes a thin promise, but absolutely zero follow through.
