            We paid $1,033.50 to A Tax Office on Feb 2nd to file an Offer in compromise with the **** As of today April 13th we haven't received any services just broken promises. We've reached out Feb 14, 17, 27, 29, Mar 1, 15, April 4, 5 and still no service or refund after they promised both..We just want our money back and now ********************* has been **** This has been a horrible experience and I want to do all I can to ensure no one else experience this. How do you treat people this way especially during such trying times.

            Better Business Bureau:

            I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that their proposed resolution would be satisfactory IF they follow through with their offer to render services for the *** at no cost. It is definitely a service we need and the reason we reached out initially.  Their reputation did leave an impression and we reached out right away as we believed they would be our step in the right direction to help us resolve our IRS challenges. How can we be reassured they will follow through? Needless to say, there is great concern given our experience. We are open to give it another try with their offer.

            I am rejecting this response because:

            Once again they did not follow through on their promise to reach out to me over a week ago to complete our process. Yet another broken promise and we were foolish enough to think by them committing to what they said with the bbb that they would actually make due on their promise. Unfortunately here we are. They are awful and do not seem to care in the least. 

             

            I'm embarrassed that we fell for it again.

            I went to A tax office **** located at ******************************************************************** which is operated by Eureka ***** (*****) and ********************* on 3/8/2023. My tax return was prepared by *********************. I gave my routing and account number to him to complete my direct deposit for my fedreral refund and upon completion verified my account numbers were entered correctly on my tax paperwork and also the copies i have for my records. After 3 weeks my federal refund was deposited into a fraudulent account to an online bank and I have not yet received my refund.

            I am rejecting this response because:I wasn't reimbursed for my tax preparation fees after waiting for my tax return to paid out from A tax office. My federal tax return was deposited into a fictitious account on 3/27/24 and this was not any fault of mine. I believe I should be compensated or reimbursed for this inconvenience since I didn't receive the service I paid for.
