  This issue occurred in May or June of 2022. This individual, whose name I do not know, came to our daughter's house (next door to us) to repair a clock. We were interested in having two of our own clocks repaired, so we invited the clock repairman to our home. He looked at the two clocks- a wall clock and a cuckoo clock. He said he could repair both, but had to take them with him to get parts, complete repairs, etc. He actually stated he would have it completed by the end of the week. Over the next few weeks, I called a few times. He did answer or return my call. He stated he was making progress, still needed another part, etc., and gave dates by which he would be completed- though the dates kept advancing to later times. In the past several weeks, though, he has not returned our calls. I have left voice messages and sent texts. Since it has been a month or more and I have not received any response, I must conclude that he is keeping the clocks and has no plans to return them, let alone to repair them.
